Dembele needs to keep his mouth shut over his possible frustrations over being allowed to move.

Rodgers I'm sure would have had zero problem at all at letting him go to any team that came in for him at a decent price at the start of the window - but with 2 days left at the point Lyon expressed interest he needs to be put in his place and told to wise the * up and not come out with vague statuses that can be interpreted as digs at your boss.

This again should have been discussed and sorted months ago. I think we have said he can go if we receive a bid of 20 million. The bid has then came in and we rejected it. He needs to go now, and we need a replacement striker. It might mean paying a hefty wage for a 6 month loan deal but it needs done. If he stays with Boyata I really fear for our season.

Would hate to see him go but as things stand I don’t think him and Rodgers will get on if he stays which could be a major problem in the dressing room. Whole window has been a disaster and it seems that it is mostly the fault of the recruitment staff who have failed to identify replacements.

At the end of the day if the move doesnt suit both parties at the time then the board has every right to turn down the offer. Yes we should have replacements lined up for players who leave but this close to the end of the window who are we realistically gonna bring in that is an adequate replacement for dembele? If this offer had came in weeks ago I have no doubts we wouldnt stand in the way of a move. January is 4 months away moussa will just have to stick it out until then.
