Weird there’s been no speculation so far. Seems like he knows he’ll be here next year as well, with stuff he’s posted on Twitter and Instagram.

I’ve been critical of him at times but I love him deep down, just when a player seems like he’s not giving his all for the team I get * off

If we can get him to sign and extension and get another season like his first out of him, we’ll be * laughing. And maybe then we could start speaking of £40m bids again.

 

He'll get full international chances post World Cup I am sure in friendlies or possibly against lower ranked teams in qualifiers. He does however have very tough competition to get into the full team as France have Griezeman (28), Thauvin (25), Fekir (24),Mbappe (19) and Giroud (31), all apart from 1 are nearing the end of their international career.

 

But but but Timmy , don't forget he is on 55,000 a week plus he got a 5 million signing fee, plus his agent got a million , and he's due 50% of any future transfer fee, the other half of the transfer we will need to pay our super duper co-op overdraft.

In Today's market he's worth at a minimum 20m given his potential and someone would easily pay it, but he's priceless to us.

He bulldozes defenses up here ,great at holding up the play and linking the play off, He's a powerful runner too and scores all types of goals ,the bigger the game seems to bring the best out of him ,Not the finished article yet but he's getting there, he's only 21 would love him still to be here at 26.

 

Allow me to be the negative * to say that (unfortunately), I can't see him staying with Eddie now signing permanently.

Can't see the club spending this much on a player who plays a position where we already have such depth and quality. Obviously the best option would be to keep Dembele on an extended deal - just not sure it's realistic given the fee, and the fact that we'd be sitting two top quality strikers on the bench with our current formation.

This could mean Griff might be the odd man out, and given Rodgers' hit and miss attitude towards playing him consistently, wouldn't be a huge surprise. However, can't see Griff leaving after he's been on record to say he wants to stay here forever and is in talks to extend his deal.

People need to remember we marked down £8m for paddy last summer and it never took place we then get a minimum of £7.5m from VVD in winter if dembele wants to go he will go but I don’t think he will! We don’t need to raise funds at all we have at least £37m in the bank

 

Hartson said the other day could be 50m from champions league we have in the bank on top of all that , we may sell armstrong though as it looks like he wants to go , and that offsets the Odsonne transfer before we have even touched the market.
