We could make £100million from Dembele and we'd still never sign a player for more than £6million. Then the likes of Lawwell will say we needed it to balance the books. It's just *.

 

A can't be bothered with players who say " a don't want to sit on the bench ", don't think any player wants to sit on the bench and unlike a lot of managers a don't think Brendan has any favourite s and if you're at the top of your game and best player in that position, you start, if your not your a sub, up to Griffiths whether he starts or doesn't

 

I agree, I'm just a bit concerned he strikes it too often to the keepers' right and think Foderingham kind of found that out in the hun games at the end of the season because he dived that way twice. It's ironic I'm using two pens Sinky actually scored to highlight my point haha, but hopefully you get what I'm saying.

Cerny's save springs to mind as well.

Anyway, getting a bit off topic. Hopefully Moussa goes nowhere in the summer and to be honest I don't think he will go anywhere. Can't see us willing to sell at all and think other clubs in Europe may be wanting to see how he fares with another season in the CL again.

Aye I know, and that's the first time he's went that way. So hopefully he does mix it up a little next season.

Has he?? I can honestly only remember him ever going to his left. Maybe he has though, and if he has then just ignore me because I'm talking pish haha. Would love to see a video of all of his pens this season.

Not a big deal really. Good to know we have a bunch of competent penalty takers in our squad now.

Even though I don't like the small run-up, Moussa has shown he can also take some great pens. Griff is also just a natural finisher and will score a lot more pens than he misses.

Such a contrast to around 2010 I think when we had literally zero penalty takers in our squad and missed nearly every one we had.

 

Starting to believe he is going to stay.

 

If we don't make CL groups I think he might go myself but ye can never tell

 

He will be here this coming season I believe. After another full season hopefully breaking all the records * be off.

 

I wonder if Moussa is the Muslim name for Moses?

 

If the right player comes up & Brendan wants him I'm sure the club would do their best to back him (within reason), I don't want to see us spending money on unsuitable players just to pacify supporters who want to see transfer activity. Remember the debacle that was Andy Carrol!
