I'm not too worried.we have plenty of match winners in the squad sinclair, griffiths, armstrong, rogic, forrest, boyata.

sorry to hear he is out but it could work in our favour , Dembele has been playing a lot
Of games, looked a bit off in some , Griff is chomping at the bit to get a game, he is well rested but looks fit and of course very capable of finding the net.
What other team has this luxury at this stage of the season.

I know this gets said a lot but imagine someone saying this last season.

Only worry is Griff getting an injury whilst Moussa is out as he has been a bit niggle happy this season..

Still feel we have enough as Sinclair can do it and young Aitchison who I'd like to see get a shot..

Won't do Griff's morale very good but it wouldn't surprise me if Brendan maybe put Sinclair up top for Saturday with his explosive pace and directness. Shooders out on the left and Roberts on the right with a midfield trio of Armstrong, McGregor and Rogic just infront..

BR on @MDembele_10:He’s had a scan on his hamstring, we’ll continue to assess him and we’ll see where he’s at.

BR: He was on a bike today and moving the hamstring, it is a tear but it’s not overly serious

BR: There’s a chance he’s not ruled out for the season, but we’ll just need to see how he responds.

I know he'll be keen to play but I don't see any point in trying to push to get fit, the league is done and we should still have enough to beat Aberdeen in the final without him, wrap him in cotton wool so he's 100% over the summer for the qualifiers.

If he rushed back before the end of the season and made it worse how raging would everyone be?

On the flip side though, what if he didnt push himself and didn't make the final, which we went on to lose, and then he was deemed fit a week or two later, how raging would everyone be?

It's a tough one, but it's situations like this which earn our medical team and sports science team a fortune.

Just hope he takes it easy with his recovery. If we get him some minutes before the end of the season then it's a bonus. No need to rush it.

Not sure why reported through various media channels that he was out for approx 6 weeks when that had never been communicated by club. I eluded to it at start of week on day of scan - potential for return in 3 weeks but he will NOT be rushed for a cup final, only if no reaction to initial movement & loading to area but media far too quick in guessing condition.

its all fine and well saying we could sign him for 12 million, but with a fee that high he will demand wages to reflect a transfer fee of that size, which we wont do..
zero zilch nada chance of us paying 12 million for anyone.
remember the last time a team in scotland payed 12mil for a player..
