    I have a feeling he isn't going to play enough games to get it, though I could be wrong.

    I think Brendan will start to rest him more once the league is over so that he's fresh for the qualifiers.

    If for instance our last three league fixtures of the season don't include the Huns, then we'll probably rest many of our first team.

    I was discussing this with my dad the other day.

    I'd love to go unbeaten, but because our qualifiers are so early, I really want the players to be rested well in advance of them so if that means giving them time off before the official end of the season then so be it.

    For me the CL is just too important: the money we make from it, the prestige that allows us to hold onto our better player and to attract greater quality players to the squad. Whereas, in the grand scheme of things, records in Scotland aren't really worth much.

    That said, obviously I want to do both. Finish the second unbeaten and qualify for the CL.

    Bizarre decision to give Dembele man of the match today, apart from the penalty he had a quiet game. James Forrest was easily the best player on the pitch. I know Dembele is the golden boy at te moment but lets keep it real and give the MOM to the player that actually deserves it.

    When is the qualifiers for the Champions League?

    Resting your players is all well and good, but you may be forgetting the Scottish Cup final (should we get there) is the week following the last league game of the season.

    Surely you'd be seriously unhappy if BR rested half the team in that final for a qualifier heavily stacked in our favour?
