Decent enough player but he's nowhere near Frimpong and Elhamed.

Think he puts in quite a few good crosses, but suspect defensively.

Tidy enough, good crosser of the ball..

Hard for him to make an impact with no regular game time..

    But, aye 3rd choice.

Good crosser of the ball, better than lustig was for the majority of his last 2 seasons and he’s comfortably 3rd pick. Couldn’t be happier with our options at right back

I think he’s more in the squad for character than ability. Seems to have a good attitude and work ethic, but not a great player.

Seen him play about 3/4 games and he’s been pretty *. He’s lucky he’s in a winning team so it doesn’t get noticed as much.

I'd be tempted to play Ajer at RB if needed instead. Not good enough.

Then it should be O'Connor, we all know what Bauer offers and he has steadied the ship with options at RB. Nobody knew what elhamed was gonna be like nevermind frimpong or O'Connor. I'm sure he didn't expect to be jumped by frimpong before even December. But it's a loan and it will turn out to be a great loan imo but he certainly has to go back to stoke at end of the season.

Agree. Just reckon, in the long term, would be better playing O'Connor. Have to say, in all the games I have seen Bauer, he has impressed me. He will definitely be back to Stoke, LO'C is here for the long haul.

It's a funny one. I think I'd be happy enough with him as first choice if we had never signed Elhamed and Frimpong. He's not a bad player but he's well behind that pair.

Put in some absolute stunning crosses during the match, some of the best crossing I've seen from a Celtic fullback since I don't know when, the accuracy and pace would result in tons of goals with a proper header of ball from someone like Bayo or Eddie.

Problem is, every other part of his game seems limited.

I'll second that mate, his deliveries into the box really are * excellent! Just a shame he has other limitations to his game.

Whether you rate him or not surely it is insane Stoke City don't value him enough to be in their squad. He must have laughed getting this move, same as Elyounoussi and Forster. Three players in on loan, all playing well in Europe and their parent clubs are fighting relegation

Like Sutton said last night in relation to Forster, Southampton must be sitting there watching him get back to his agile best and thinking, da fuq man. They will want him back no doubt given his current form.

Not to put a dampener on a joyous evening but

Gave the ball away needlessly. When he wasn't just passing back a la latter years Lustig, he was aimlessly knocking it long and giving it straight back to them.

Couple of decent crosses but also giving it * step over sandancing when it wasn't needed.

    Frimpong please.
