The fears of toljan first couple weeks where 90% of our fans thought he was a saviour.

Let's give baur a few months at least.

Although, and this is purely personal, if we did sign him perm then it means next season we have a 29 and a 28 year old...nothing overly wrong there, but it goes against the idea of building youth etc. We would be back to square one in a couple years.

Unless we're using a 28 and 29 year old to give us some stability while we bring on younger replacements? It could be forward planning.

    This would be my hope.

I mean, 29 and 28 aren't bad ages at all, both good for 3-4 years, but both will likely want first team action and then the prospect of a youth etc.

Not always a bad thing, just hope we don't end up 3 years down the line needing a full right back replacement again.
Would love for that.... But that boats sailed.

Way too early to know what to do with him. He is good though. Wouldn't be surprised if offers came in for elhamed next summer if he keeps playing the way he is. If O'Connor and frimpong reach their potential is having both Bauer and elhamed on the books going to limit their development? Currently we are very well stocked at rb and lb, let's hope frimpong and O'Connor reach their potential it will be a good headache to have

Having both of them would be ideal to me. Will make it easy enough to rotate and will do the confidence of the team in general good to know that when they need to change at RB, the replacement is just as good as the first choice. Plus will take the strain of both players in that position, given the amount of games we play.

Its the way forward, having 2 quality players for most positions. Looking good at LB also, with Boli & hopefully Taylor.

He's a good crosser and has a long throw. It's still early days but I've not seen a whole lot more to his game yet.

He looks like a complete liability defensively.

A bit meh at the back, good going forward, don't know if this was the game to play him in unless Elhamed was leggy.

NL: "We’ll see how Moritz is. Funnily enough on the penalty incident he hurt his ankle which doesn’t surprise me. The rest of them are fine.
