We’ve got to go all out to get him permanently, pay £15m and give Southampton their money back. He’s only 25, we’ll either double our money on him in a couple of years or he’ll be a fantastic Celtic player for 5 or more years.

We need Southampton relegated, that is our best chance of any deal for him. Even then he will be on a massive wage at them.

We've no chance of getting him sadly..

He's only getting better and we'll be priced well out of the picture..

We would need to break our transfer record for him..

Would cost 13m-14m.. At 25 he's in his prime would be a huge statement, unlikely tho.

Wow. He's too * good, I know it will be near impossible for us to sign him but we should be pushing the boat out for him, he's just turned 25 and he will only get better if he is playing for the right club.

Seriously impressed with his work rate, gets himself everywhere and good at picking up 2nd balls and tackling.

Find it strange he never got a real chance at Southampton, boy creates and scores so much.

Based on what we’ve seen of him in a Celtic strip and nothing more, maybe he’s another Tam Rogic who looks like he’s running about with concrete in his boots until he’s got game time under his belt and then he looks a world beater.

Cluj at home was a case in point, he burst into life in the 2nd half after a mediocre 1st.

Not sure hes a far better player and even if he is we couldn't afford Paddy so what chance have we of signing this fella. If he does keep this form up do you honestly think no one else will be interested.

I wasnt trying to compare them anyway just saying enjoy him while he is here.

Was it him that started off the 5th, with the wee * over the boys head just outside our box? Sure it was but can’t see it in any of the highlights.

He’s getting better with each game and walks into our 11 right now. He’s the player he was at Basel. Sometimes moves don’t work out for whatever reason and clearly this was the case at Southampton. He’s still young and could turn us a profit if we splash out. Look at Eddie. There were a few of us who probably thought 9m was a bit much. That’s looking like an absolute steal now. If we can get Mo in for a similar fee then I’m all for it.

There was me thinking the left wing spot was MJ’s for this season. What a great signing he’s proving to be so far.

I think wages will be the killer more than anything else. Only hope is he wasn’t on too much at Southampton and maybe if they are relegated he will get a huge cut, which would be the perfect storm for him to sign here for a season or two.

Sadly not much chance we will sign him unless Southampton get relegated and are willing to take a discount on selling him to maybe 8-9 million. Even then he would probably have to be willing to take a cut in wages as well. So not likely but maybe Southampton get relegated and who knows.

Even if Southampton wanted or needed rid end of season there would be a fairly big line of possible suitors who would pay big bucks if these performances continue

Am sure Pedro will have a cunning plan in place to * him in Jan, something like a player swap with Sinclair going to the south coast.
For now, lets just enjoy him.
For me, sure he has skill vision etc. but he also has great work rate-and this is a major attribute.
