    FF signed a new 5 year deal, he has another 3 years left. You said about the lad signing for big money I pointed out FF did as well and we have an option to buy him.

    If you are now brining wages into it then FF is on decent money as well as this lad. Couldn’t they do with losing wages on them both?

    They have other wingers who they deem much better or they wouldn’t have let him go out on loan, no? No point in having big names like you have said about FF, and this lad could be the same.

    I just think it’s short sighted not getting an option to buy and then the possibility of young MJ not getting enough game time. MJ is ready for me, he has looked great since he has started this season I would hate to see him move down the pecking order and possibly lose game time for a loan who will move on next season.

    I not saying that this guy is not good, I’m just a bit gutted we haven’t put something in place to try and sign him on a permanent bases.

    Celtic would be putting it everywhere that they have an option to buy, unfortunately they haven't. I highly doubt Southampton are going to sell a player for peanuts when they just spend 16 million on him and has a 5 year contract with them.

    Happy with this signing, presumably will be on Sinclairs wages while offering a lot more to the team. Although we will back to square one again with the squad rebuild and making Southampton more money isn't something that you want to see. If he starts against the huns we're winning

    Got to move with the times mate. We cant afford the huge salaries these guys would command and like it or not we are seen as big fish in a smaller league. Loans in this current climate seem much more savvy. Let's be honest we sell the best of the rest every season. It's how the club survive and please the money men.

    This guy was * down epl. Southampton fans calling him there worst signing.
    Don’t get excitement on here.
    If he can’t cut in epl with loads space to operate.
    How he going cut here against 10 men behind ball.
    Would prefer Johnston to be getting game time instead this guy

    I still hate loans, and we shifted so many players early in the window that we could easily take 2 players on big wages, not 1.

    Hooper couldnt cut it, pukki is smashing it. * knows, some folk just do it down there and others dont. One of those things. Probably prefers a team that's no camped in against man city etc for 90 mins hoping no to loose by 6.

    He was likely brought in by a manager that was sacked shortly after and either played out of position, with tactics that don't suit his style and/or not getting regular game time. Bit like Armstrong down there.

    Because he cut it with Basel, he cut it with Molde (including raping us) and he cut it internationally.

    The one anomaly is a declining Southampton, a team Staurt Armstrong’s currently failing in and he cut it up here.

    Never seen the guy play but if it means Morgan won't be near the first team then i like this guy already. Get Morgan punted on loan and don't bring him back until he is tearing it up somewhere else.. regularly and for more than 15 mins

    All the teams he has been successful with were the big clubs in their respective leagues so naturally he would be further up the pitch.

    These teams like Southampton buy players like this then make them play 20 yards further back than theyre used to.

    He will run riot up here.

    I’ve always liked them, I prefer them with a option to buy of course but they allow us to get players in we’d normally not have a chance due to the inflated prices.
