    See there is talk of supply drops coming into this.

    * if true. Fair enough add new maps or even weapons but I don't want them to steer too far away from the original game. That was the whole point of remastering it in the first place.

    * have obviously realised there is money to be made due to everyone playing this and not that abomination I was forced to buy with it.

    Supply Drops are a farce.

    Fair enough if they are limited to people who play the game and put effort into it, but allowing people to pay for them is a joke.

    I really liked Black Ops 3 but the Supply Drops nearly put me off it.

    I read somewhere that they were going to be putting weapons from MW2, WAW, Black Ops etc into MW Remastered. I don't see the point myself. Save that nonsense for Infinite Warfare.

    That's what I was getting at above.

    They have obviously seen the amount of people playing this and thought "ideal, lets take these * for a ride". Eventually infinite warfare will be patched off.

    IMO this will be the last year we see the space setting. Watched a few videos about it by some big youtubers and apparently this is the end of the 3 year cycle of development. It has gone Advanced Warfare, BO3 then Infinite.

    Guys like Hutch etc reckon it will be set in Vietnam next or there will be some form of WAW2 in the next couple years.

    Next game is being developed by Sledgehammer as far as I know, the ones who made Advanced Warfare, hard to know what they'll go for but AW was a failure in terms of sales and popularity so I would be surprised if they went back to that type of setting. I'd like to think Treyarch are considering a World at War 2 for the next one after that.

    Have to wonder how many more games they can drag out of the franchise though. They might be better off just remastering the order ones at reduced prices at this stage, with maybe the odd tweak or DLC.

    Yeah.

    However what I mean is they set their development out in cycles obviously so once advanced warfare was released they immediately started on the next one and even planning for the one after that. So that was BO3 and Infinite taken care of.

    This is where the talk of the space theme being scrapped is coming from. I reckon they will see the success of MW remastered and also the sheer amount of folk complaining about the game going away from its roots and thunk * this.

    6 more remastered maps announced for December 13th as well as one totally new map, also included is 2 game modes, gun game and hard point, can only see this game getting better now

    6 new maps coming is great news.

    Game is great don't get me wrong but it can be tedious playing the same maps every 2 or 3 games. 6 more including the Winter Crash will mix it up a bit more.

    Just got the gold M16 last night as well, the way they have allowed your headshots to carry on is definitely a good thing. Was almost impossible to get gold in the original. In a legit way, anyway.

    The melee weapons are a shovel, a broken bottle and a sword. I don't know exactly what the weapons are but people found gun files on the pc that had ones from mw2 and bo1 like the galil, spas12, intervention etc.

    The guns probably aren't a bad idea but there should just be challenges to get them, much fairer that way.

    Melee weapons don't belong in Cod4.

    Greedy * *, would of made a fortune from selling the £70 edition for MWR now adding supply drops, * them. They know all the youtubers will jump on it spending a fortune then so will majority of other players.

    A youtuber by the name cizzors has done a video on the new weapons think there's around 6 or 7 melee weapons added
