For the record, I have no problem with Paul and agree with most of his Celtic related posts.

He just loses all sense of logic and reason when it comes to MMA, and Conor in particular.

Cerrone's whole career has been like that I think, most fighters especially the good ones which he is are trying to build their way up to the top, imrpove, use game plans and plan their fights out to take steps to win the belt probably even cancel fights if they have an injury and just be very tactical about their careers.

Cerrone has always felt to me like he just fights for the fun of it and for the money, outside the fighting as well he seems to always be very active doing whatever he wants probably always picking up wee injuries and never being 100% and well rested.

Think thats why sometimes he looked really good then other times folds like a pack of cards at the first couple of times he gets hit in the face. Theres probably been a lot of his fights where he was injured or overworked and lethargic but just did it anyway as he's never been that concerned with dedicating himself 100% to being the best he can be just more relaxed at taking things as they come knowing he is quite good.

He may well do. I was actually someone who picked him to beat Khabib (don’t laugh) and would give him a very real chance against Ferguson and Masvidal. I think his boxing is so far ahead of most in the UFC, that if they don’t have the threat of a takedown or a lot of durability, he’s always got a chance of getting them out early.

Either way, he should fight again soon and against a better standard of opponent. There’s no reason he shouldn’t be back in the cage in spring/early summer.

Conor is a fighter that a lot of people either underestimate or over-hype, most of the stupid posts or arguments/debates in here have been about Conor. We've all been made a fool of at some point on our predictions on Conor over the years either by overestimating him or underestimating him.

I underestimate him every single time. Since Mendes I have thought he would lose every single fight.

Dont know what it is, cant shake it.

    He’s a polarising character.

Perfect example today, I think he’s a * by endorsing Trump....

He was the only reason I stayed up and watched UFC and I loved listening to him..

Gone off him massively and think he's a scumbag to be honest..

Just realised what that’s all about. Hate the whole celebrity boxing thing, but boxing rules, with one hand tied behind his back? I would be all over that.

Not the best card but always a pleasure watch the GOAT.

    Jon Jones is alright too.

Not really excited about it, haven't even watched an embedded yet. Thiago Santos rematch would get my attention, but after that I want him to go up.

Adesnaya would be interesting, but I think he should stay where he is. Loads of good fights in his natural division and I think Jones makes light work of to anyway.
