Just seen that finish. First punch was class..

Was Pettis no the 1 who got smashed recently and regularly?

It's why I'm no as big on MMA. Don't like seeing people repeatedly done on the penny when knocked out..

I've seen Wonder boy fight a few times, don't see what all the fuss is about. Good movement and he's quick, he's probably past his best to be fair.

First time he's been finished in 19 fights which included scraps against; Till, Masvidal, Hendricks, Ellenberger, Whittaker, Rory MacDonald and Tyron Woodley twice.

Enormous win and finish from Pettis.

You missed his rise to the top mate. He was just slicing through the division with ease.

Aye true. I knew he was a legend in his day.

To be fair I've fallen away from UFC recently. Watched it all the time when I lived in Canada and the time zones worked out well perfectly being there but since I've been back in Scotland it's always * mental o'clock that it's on.

I always loved watching GSP and Anderson Silva in their prime. Amazing fighters.

I’m the same, was expecting him to be a lot better considering the plaudits he was getting.

The first fight I seen of his was the draw vs Woodley. I missed his run towards the title shot so he might have been impressive in that run but he’s been average since the Woodley draw in 2016.

Interesting, going back to boxing again then, maybe he’s taking up Malagnaggi’s bare knuckle boxing offer :giggle1:

Don't blame him if he genuinely is, he found his level in the octagon.

It's probably hard to get motivated when you have mansions, lambos and boats, he has had a short career took minimal damage and has made way more bank in mma than anyone ever will.

*, he probably makes more in endorsements and sponsorships not fighting than anyone makes fighting on the UFC roster.

    More retirements than title defences.

He’ll milk the boxing, WWE, Bellator, game show, telly appearance, whisky, blah blah blah links for the next few months like just about no other celebrity could.

He and Dana White are in a public not so subtle game of mind chess at the minute.

Aye been reading he wants shares in the UFC which imo won’t happen, aye he carried them when Jones went all out to wreck his career. But no chance is he the big draw he was a couple of years back.
