It counts for public perception. If you're claiming there's no chance the fight will be made because Masvidal would murder him.. you're basically basing that statement off public perception.

How could it possibly be a mismatch in Jorge's favour if he wouldn't even be the bookies' favourite?

He’s had a lot of really poor decisions go against him but that’s not really the point, the point is guys that couldn’t lace Conor’s shoes have wins over him!

I like Masvidal, he’s a proper scrapper. But he’s not a guy you can say will murder anyone at light or welter.

Yeah I agree. I think it would be an incredible fight though if Masvidal could survive the early onslaught.

    You're missing my point.

You're claiming that there's no chance the fight will be made. On what basis? Your personal opinion?

Because I think they’ll give Conor one of the easier fights at 155 on his comeback so they can build up the rematch with Khabib.

Of course it’s my opinion, what else would it be?

Because your personal opinion has absolutely zero influence on UFC match making? :giggle1: That's what I was getting at. If you think they're trying to line up a Khabib rematch that's another thing.

I fully expect McGregor v Diaz III to be honest. That seems to be the talk with Cerrone booked now for Iaquinta.

I think McGregor-Masvidal could go like Diaz 1.

Mad scrap, Conor gasses, gets finished. Be good to see though, proper scrap.
