Aye, Ferguson is class but Holloway is the worst match up for him I think.

Tony is hittable and Max won’t stop coming at him.

Cannonier smashes him. Get your money on it.

I think GSP was a Khabib or maybe Woodley fight off cementing GOAT status. Returning to fight Bisping just doesn’t do it for me. He’s a great of course, happy for him going out the way he is, just think that return was kind of pointless without a real super fight.

I’d agree with that, he’s been brilliant and definitely deserves a shot at the belt.

Three straight TKO wins against Pettis, Gaethje and Alvarez. All three of those fights were extremely entertaining fights as well.

As it stands, GSP is the GOAT for me.

His legacy is nowhere near as strong as it should be right enough and the likes of Jones and Cormier are a fight or 2 off him.

You always have to take pound for pound into consideration. If im forced I say GSP. It's very early days for MMA.

That’s what makes the GOAT debate interesting in MMA. It literally can change on a fight by fight basis.

And in Jones/DC III you arguably have a fight to cement the GOAT.

It would be unreal. But it would be one of my favourite moments of Jones won too. I’d love a 5 round belter and the two of them to bury the hatchet at the end, which ever way it goes.

I’ve gone from hating DC to loving him. He’s a top guy, he can * fight, he can commentate, he’s pretty funny and he can sell a fight.

I think Woodley would have beat him. He's still easily one of the best ever though.

The only thing against Jones is his PED abuse, had he been clean he would probably be considered the GOAT. Welterweight is a tougher weight class than light heavyweight so that needs to be taken into considerationp

Don't think DC ever beats Jones, Jones has his number, I think there's a large mental block there for DC

DC is better than anything at welterweight, irrespective of what was/is on offer at welterweight, so that negates that argument for me.

Light heavyweight used to be full of monsters. It was the weight class to watch for years. Jones beat them all.

    This.

Said it before but no one will ever go on a run like Jones did. He ran through absolute killers to become the youngest champion ever.

Bonnar, O’Brien, Vera, Hamill, Matyushenko. Not a single ‘killer’ amongst them.

I love Bones, he’s arguably the most talented fighter I’ve ever seen but there’s no really any traction in making things up.

He went on a tear of killers as the Champ, not before.

You left out Bader and the man he beat to become champion, Shogun.

There’s no traction in making things up, there’s also no traction in ignoring facts to suit your own argument.

I think you know what Valhalla meant too.
    No need to be pedantic.
