Wowy.. Anyone see that phantom stoppage by Yves Lavigne? Usually an excellent ref. Put his hands on the fighter to stop the fight and then changed his mind after Benavidez disengaged. Joe B still got it done in round 1.

Lavigne is *. Notoriously *. That’s not the first time he’s changed his mind about stopping a fight.

Yeah? Can't remember one off the top of my head, always had him pegged as a good ref. Mazigatti, Yamasaki and Herb are some of the worst in the UFC too. Can't understand why Herb continuously gets the big fights.

Herb’s had some dodgy early or late stoppages but he’s miles ahead of those two and Lavigne.

Mazigatti and Yamasaki are the worst I’ve ever seen. Kim Winslow too.

Granted Herb is no Mazagatti but I really fail to see what makes him a good ref. He makes mistakes constantly and puts fighters' health at risk. He's a poor poor referee.

There’s just something missing when you see and hear him speak.

Hard one this weekend, love Holloway and Ortega. Going to be a great fight though.

I like both of them but Ortega is such a cool good guy i hope he wins I lean towards Ortega winning by sub in 3rd or 4th the guy is a special talent.

A healthy Holloway beats Ortega well for me.

Just think Max won’t be the same fighter after all the health issues stuff.

Chuck was one of my favourites back in the day. Hate to see fighters the calibre of Chuck carry on longer than they should and end up losing fights they would easily have won when they were at their peak. It was the same with BJ Penn

Really don't understand wanting to cut that amount of weight. I know they gain alot back for fight night but it must sap some amount of power our you.

He'll have to fight the perfect fight. When they tie up, Ortega will be lethal. Honestly one of those fights I feel privileged to get to watch.

Holloway would win, if he were fit.

Ortega will probably paste him, I genuinely don’t think Holloway should be fighting.

Definitely not a gimme for a fit Holloway. Bit of a strange statement that.
