Really can’t put my love for Mike Perry into words. His Instagram stories after a fight make my day.

What a * fight that would be stylistically. The build up would be sensational as well.

Conor would surely Ice Cowboy early. I think it would play out just like the Eddie Alvarez fight. I'd be shocked if it went past two rounds it might even earlier and end in 1st round.

The Cowboy of the weekend? No chance.

In fact the Cowboy of the weekend provides Khabib a bigger challenge than Conor did.

Perry has no fight IQ, if he lost it was always going to be by sub. Conor has good fight IQ and I think he would smash Cowboy's brittle body to bits early. Perry is fun to watch but he's nowhere near Conor's level.

I may be miles off but I think you’ll see a far more focussed and driven Cerrone now and one who’s eyes are firmly on a Title.

If it isn’t Conor whoever he gets next is getting smashed.

Pettis would probably pick Gaethje apart pretty easy once he weathers the initial storm.

Cowboy pursuing Conor now, when the Nevada * is sorted I can see this one picking up pace.

    I’m all over it.

McGregor should walk right through him. No head movement, weak body, past trouble against southpaws.

Honestly think Conor goes in there and takes his head off.

Too simplistic to say Conor walks through or takes his head off. He didn’t find it easy taking Diaz’ head off, another long rangey and in your face striker with ground skills.

Ultimately it’ll depend on what Cowboy shows up but he 100% has it in him to beat Conor. It won’t be a walkover like a Siver. The size difference is significant, without checking I’d surmise Cowboy would be the biggest guy he’s ever faced?

Nate’s the same size as Cerrone but got a longer reach. Look what he did to Cowboy. McGregors reach isn’t as much as Nate but it’s bigger than Cerrone and the fight would be at lightweight so size wouldn’t be an issue.

McGregor doesn’t let this fight go to the ground like Perry stupidly did. Cerrone’s stand up is all about putting combinations together and I’m afraid McGregor won’t be there long enough to put a combination together. He’s also a slow starter so if Conor comes out quick it could be over before it starts.

I love Cowboy and it’s a great fight, but I see Conor winning. It’ll be a 1st round KO or a 5 round war.

Cowboy is an inch taller than Diaz, who Conor struggled to finish. Size is, 100%, an issue.

Shows how incompetent the UFC can be then, was watching their fight and it lists them at 6 foot each. Maybe he shrinks at lightweight :87:

McGregor and Díaz fought at welterweight and Díaz is incredibly difficult to put away. That Josh Thomson head kick would put away 9/10 guys, he leaned into it and got cracked... he didn’t even go out on the ground. That’s the only time he has been TKO’d.

Cerrone gets hit a lot and he’s been put away. Was put away by a guy smaller than McGregor, well actually destroyed by him. So size isn’t that big a deal, especially at lightweight which is Conor’s comfortable weight and Cerrone looks drained.

It’s that big a deal I guarantee every fight preview focuses on it. The size difference is the equaliser on the feet.
