So Ngoou, * I've forgotten how to spell his name. Anyway, he was favourite? If that's true it sounds like he wasn't medically fit to pass for this fight like the commentator said the doctor advised against it.
How are people saying GOAT when the opponent was so poor?
I mean if you compared him to Lomachenko (who I've not seen) would you say he was that level or is it unfair to compare those sports because one has been going at least 100 years more?
I do think most decent UFC fighters would beat similar level boxing if they halved the rules, met in the middle.
McGregor Mayweather was just silly, don't like it when it's pantomime but the pundits say it was good for both sports. I disagree, did nothing for boxing apart from make it all about money with no passion.
UFC will become the most popular genre in the fight scene all by itself, there are just too many moves it makes boxing look restrictive.
I just wonder how UFC fighters find sparring partners, in boxing the head gear offers protection but you'd need full body armour sparring with a world class fighter.

You think Mayweather would rematch using UFC rules for any amount of money, like £200m?
I dunno why McGregor had to fight one of the all time greats, guess fighting a more equal opponent wouldn't have filled out King Tuts.
That's how bandaged up he should have been.
Hope UFC becomes an Olympic sport. Be good to see up and coming amateurs. It's very entertaining.
How is the Scottish guy doing? Was quite chuffed to see him. I think he won but it was ages ago.

I think it can be quite important. I wish I remember the fighter but it was almost a boy band song, really cheesy and so far away from intimidating it was embarrassing. He got totally rag dolled as well.
Bit of heavy rap or heavy metal is good.
McGregor's is quite good, especially when Sinead sings it.

    You snobby * :56:
That's so far away from my worst post too. Now I need to change my name. Viking of Kings.
We need a Larsson smiley, he'll have viking blood in him.
That guy Holloway is good, dunno about GOAT though. I'll wait till Nasser says it.
Is the guy with the steel chin still fighting, I think his name is Choi or similar East Asian.

Strange how it turned out to be quite a mismatch. He took him down so easily.

DC is an absolute * machine. Which just proves what Jones is.

As suspected, too quick for Ngannou. As much of a pain in the * is Rogan is with his * talking when he sees poor ground fighters he’s right in what he was saying - he didn’t have a clue what to do on his back. Entirely reliant on explosive power in every situation.

I think it’s meant to be a Fight Night in September... so that rules out any kind of big fight for him.

Thought Wonderboy shat it from that because he wanted Woodley again. Or Wonderboys old man shat it!

Joe Rogan had Ben Askren on his MMA show. Would of been interesting to see how he’d do in the UFC.

Stipe-DC sounds pretty interesting, would like to see that.

Huge fan of Cormier, would love to see him beat Jones before he retires. Believe he just announced he will retire at 40 and has 12 months max left.

Aye he has always said he won’t fight past 40. Which is fair! He won’t fight Jones again as I doubt he will be back in the next 14 months, but he wouldn’t beat him either. Moving to HW and winning the title there is huge though, if he fights Gustafsson and does that before he retires I’d be over the moon.

    Wonderboy won’t ever beat Woodley.

The only hope he’s got of getting the belt is if someone else takes out Woodley.
