He will avoid the takedown and piece Maia up on the feet in my opinion. Horrible matchup stylistically for Maia. Good to see ya Gav mate :50:

Masvidal, Poirier, Joanna in a 5/1 treble. I'll even throw in an obnoxious 'thank me later' haha

Who you got winning out of the Edgar/Yair and Stipe/JDS fights?

I'd say Frankie but that's a really tough one to call. A dominant win either way wouldn't surprise me. I like JDS to beat Stipe too but haven't watched tape on that yet bar the first fight.

I'd love maia but it's going to be tough. However it has to be said people keep doubting him, and he keeps coming through.

On that note im leaving that fight off my acca.

Jason's knight is a good shout. Excellent jab and very dangerous on the ground. Goes to the well a bit too much with his rubber guard.

Only ones I'm fairly confident is JJ, Masvidal. Cejudo, Yair I think Knight is good value at the moment as well but I dunno if I will bet on anything so many close fights. It's such a good card.

No one can seem to stop Maias take downs and now your all convinced that he will struggle to take Masvidal down? I think it will be a straight forward night for Maia.

Think Miocic JJ and Poirer will get it done as well.

Has Maia not got some ridiculous record that in his last 4/5 fights he's been hit like 7 times in total ?

He seems on a tear just now and focused on getting the title. Would back him against anyone right now.

Haven't seen it posted but confirmed for Glasgow. I fancy this to be a war!

Agreed. Don't think he'll manage with Woodley if it comes to it though style wise I can't see him doing much. Wouldn't be shocked if Lawler came back and got the title.

I personally think lawler is done for tbh. He is one of those streak fighters who losses confidence and takes a while to get it back. I can see cerrone winning this next fight at 213.

With regards to maia, seeing the way woodley was completely frozen solid against wonderboy through fear of getting hit, I reckon there is a chance we could see him struggle through fear of the takedown.

I think Lawler will be done as well.

After that war with Rory then getting killed by Woodley. And Lawler's one of those fighters whose best weapons is the punishment he can take and keep doing.

It'll be interesting for sure, Woodley's a pretty high level wrestler so it'll be tough for Maia to get him to the ground but if he does it's game over, standing up I give the advantage to Woodley though and I think that might be the deciding factor

Maia by decision but only if Masvidal can stop the RNC.

Masvidal is awful confident for a guy who was beat by Lorenz Larkin a year ago.

Why? Branch has some good hands and a high level ground game.. but Jotko has looked like an absolute killer in his last two fights since joining ATT. Leites (who gave Bisping a very close five rounder and who has just as good if not a better ground game than Branch), couldn't lay a glove on Jotko. Got reversed in every position and Jotko even had him in a crucifix at one point. Jotko is 27, Branch is 35 and just went 5 rounds in each of his last 3 fights against 37, 32 and 36 year old men in WSOF.

Don't get me wrong, Branch has an impressive jab but I think Jotko may be too big, quick, energetic and athletic for Branch here. His takedown defence is impeccable.

You must have no idea how good Lorenz Larkin is at welterweight.
