Same order for me, with the idea that Sinclair will be pushed out the squad by either Shved or MJ come the tail end of the season.

 

Virtually all of our better players from the academy in the last few decades have been small in stature: Forrest, McGregor, Tierney (when broke onto scene), McGeady, Maloney.

Robertson was binned by us for being too small and is arguably the best LB in the world on current form.

Johnston and Henderson will need to bulk up to deal with the physical demands of the modern game but they certainly have the footballing ability to do it.

 

Hard for me to put Shved above him as he’s not played for us yet

 

Not for me mate. They are ready now. At least for places on the bench.

 

Loan spell in Greece with near constant class weather, wont want to come back.

 

The squad is still bloated 100% even with 10 players away!

 

Forrest is the only winger guaranteed a game. Hayes is nowhere near the level required and Sinclair is done as a first team player.

Christie and Ntcham’s best position is CM. Rogic was awful last season and is far too injury prone and inconsistent to be relied upon.

 

That’s my point also even as 4th choice winger he ain’t guaranteed game time.

People including myself will criticise Sinclair but when you see what he has contributed over 3 years that’s a * load of goals and assists to be taken out the team to be replaced by a 19 year old with limited first team game time

 

He should be staying with us this season and playing regularly. He's good enough.

 

Number 19 now. This will be the season he breaks through properly. 10+ Goals and 10+ Assists!

 

One of arguably a dozen players we desperately need to loan out to avoid stalling/ruining his career.

We all know Lennon likes a tight squad with little rotation, he does like to play kids but if you’re not in his favourites list it’s doubtful get more than 6 games a year.

Johnstone, like mini Dembele and mini Henderson, needs to go have 30+ matches at a decent level for one year bare minimum before he can be considered remotely near readiness.

 

On the evidence of the last few games of last season he is good enough to force his way in now. Trouble is we have so many wingers he is unlikely to get a run in the team. Hope we keep him but see the logic in sending him out - the boy needs games above all.

 

Leave the * one's out or that aren't performing and put talented fresh youngsters like him in who are.....or are showing more..

Is the new number an indication he's staying here this season..

 

Agree and hopefully so - not exactly number 7 but well within range of being a first team pler

 

One of the plus points is that Lennon he gives youth a chance if they're performing well behind closed doors.

Forrest, Watt, McGeouch, Fisher, Henderson, Rogic all got game time during his first spell.

Bodes well for Johnston and Henderson if they can cut it in training.

 

I would assume he’s staying and not getting loaned out if he’s chosen a new number
