Apparently Panathanikos want him on loan, would be surprised if we let him go.

 

Should keep and play him and Henderson..

The Turnbull fiasco has made me think it even more..

We've got top class talent ourselves. Let's use them..

 

That could be great for him, if he gets a lot of game time out there.

 

I read they wanted to sign him, not loan him. They are big club and doubt they would ask to borrow one of our kids

 

Tbh I want him to take over from Sinclair at some stage this season

 

I reckon he's shown enough to get more game time here, not sure he needs loaned out to any *.

 

Think he's shown enough but if he wanted to be a regular, a move to a top 6 SPL would work better.

 

Still no convinced at this boy. He's too lightweight. And players that small and slightly built need to be very very good to be top players....i.e Lionel Messi or Diego Maradona. Mikey is too small and not spectacularly good either (although he's no a bad player). The two games against sevco at Ibrox showed how easily he can get bossed and bullied out a game.

 

PANATHINAIKOS are weighing up a loan bid for Celtic kid Mikey Johnston.

The Greek giants watched the 20-year-old winger during last month’s Scottish Cup final.

Director of football Nikos Dabizas was at Hampden to see Johnston and Hearts midfielder Arnaud Djoum in action.

The Scotland under-21 star is highly rated by new Celtic boss Neil Lennon.

But the Parkhead squad is packed with wingers and he could yet be loaned out to gain more experience.

Clubs in Scotland and England are tracking Johnston – but Panathinaikos could offer a foreign option if he is farmed out.

If he has managed to come fro Greece and scout out a talent like young Mikey over in Scotland, it shows he has an eye for talent and is willing to go anywhere in Europe to find that talent.

Time to bring our next players through and Mikey has done more than enough to prove he is ready.
Sinclair keeps coming up with the goods though, wasn't his best season last year and he still managed 17 goals. Hes 30 now though... MJ's time to shine

 

Johnston and Henderson need the game time with us. Now. They will both improve massively as there is plenty talent and potential in both of them.

 

Leigh griffiths,shaun maloney are not that big either.So u dont need to be messi.

 

They need a loan deal at least until January unless we ship out Midfielders.

Both skillful players but need game time and to bulk up.

 

No way should he be loaned out.

Him and Henderson should be massive parts of the squad this season.

 

Where do they fit in though if everyone is fit and stays?

I would personally rather keep and play Johnston over the likes of Arzani.

Only way i’d loan him out is if we bought a left winger who we intend to start every week. Cant see that happening tho.
