Players like lustig are extremely rare.

    Yes... he does look done.

But he still does a bettter job domestically than any other rb in the league.

Unless we have a deal with a younger (and superior) player lined up and in the bag..... * no can we let him go

Agree, I think especially for the SPL it's pretty damning that there is no one close to home who would be worth taking a punt on.

Saw the big man in Ashton Lane with the family on Sunday morning.

He was a brilliant right back in his prime and has been a terrific signing for us. He's past his best now but can still do a job domestically and you get the feeling he's one of those guys that's a real leader and integral part of the team even if he's not playing.

Would I be right in saying he's been here since the first of our current run of league titles? Ideally his performance picks up and he's here for the 10. We need to strengthen the RB area irrespective of Mikael staying or leaving.

Think his time is up or at most we’ll give him another year and bring in a new right back in January.

He’s definitely a key figure off the pitch and has had some good performances this season, since he’s been captain with Broony out he’s played well.

Rumours that Police Scotland are also interested in getting him to sign a pre-contract in January.

No chance would PC Lustig confiscate your booze on the supporters bus.

Only going to happen if the stars align. You pay way over the top for quality targets half way through a season.

It certainly has to be much improved than Rodgers last 2 January transfer windows.

Kouassi, Compper, Hendry, Musonda & Bain.

Part of my reasoning, it’s not been great!

I agree, Bain was brilliant business to get for nothing. The rest... :99:

Well it was their collective * up in the summer gone, so if need be spending a bit more to get the target's we want-ed in....then it'll go a small way to making up for the wrongs of the previous window..

    This.

He'd be a decent backup option, and worst comes to worst, he can be another centre back if we're short there.

I’d keep him. It would also hope we do strengthen in the RB area

Was worried bout the pace of the guy he was up against tonight , but he played him very well.
