You said Mayweather wouldn't come forward - he did.

You said McGregor wouldn't gas - he did.

You said Mayweather would win on points - he didn't.

You said Mayweather would be 'miles away' from Conor's left - he stood in front of him and ate them as if they were nothing.

You said he wouldn't stop McGregor - he did.

You're now on here making the ridiculous claim that you called it right all along. Vintage PaulM in all honesty :56:

I'm starting to think you should be sectioned mate, really not healthy.

I said McGregor would hit him, I said he'd gas and I said Mayweather would then pick him off. I didn't edit the quote - it's right there in front of you.

There's probably no point in me repeating myself as I've listed your quotes already for everyone to see.

You called it wrong. You bought the hype. No shame in that, however, no need to simply deny what's there in black and white.

The only one that's acting shameful is you mate. Which is unfortunate because you're normally a level headed guy but you're coming across like a lunatic.

I could be wrong but im pretty sure you were confident really Mayweather wouldnt finish Mcgregor. But you were right about him getting picked off. Hardly prophetic though. I was fairly certain Mayweather would get the finish, he not a ko artist but when the quality difference is that big your going to tire him very quickly and catch him with crisp clean punches.

On the fight itself Mcgregor can hold his head high, he was competing in a different sport against the best to even do it. He played a blinder , made a * load of cash for a fight that probably should never have happened. He will continue to build his brand and go down as the biggest star in MMA history.

You're wrong in Paul's head. In reality you're completely correct, as my quotes on the previous page, and a few dozen other posts from Paul in this thread and the boxing thread show.

"Mayweather beats Conor on points, Conor fights in the UFC in December then goes back to boxing to fight Paulie next year."

Your exact words before the fight.

That was tongue in cheek FFS, I said Conor would land and Mayweather would pick him off after he gassed on more than one occasion.

He threw 430 punches to Mayweather's 283 when he was eventually picked apart in the 10th.

That tends to sap your energy, particularly when Mayweather had majorly picked up the pace in the 9th as he started to sense blood.

Ah right. I should've known all you're incorrect predictions were tongue in cheek.

My Trump comparison stands - "don't listen to what I said! Listen to what I meant!"

Yeah, if only the guy who looked fresh as a daisy after 10 rounds had thrown an extra 15 punches a round. I'm sure he would've gassed. :giggle1:

You heard it here first was a bit of a give away mate, I don't actually know Conor McGregor's projected career path.

Hi Paul, here I am. I'm not sure why you've quoted me saying McGregor would rip him to shreds in the build up. In terms of the fight being distasteful - I was wrong :giggle1:

As difficult as that was, I somehow found the courage to own that * rather than denying I ever said it and then when proven wrong, denying I ever meant it.

I'm not sure where you've pulled this from, however if you think that fight was competitive you don't know * about boxing. :52::giggle1:
