Genuine question here, because it’s why I’ve got this trail of thought, if he’s full scale fit and firing in training, bedded in right away as a young foreign play with talent (that our management has acknowledged), what would be a reason that he wouldn’t be at least in the squad?

Morgan is right footed and Shved is left footed?

Shved prefers to cut onto his left but he might have to adapt his game if it means getting minutes.

Morgan is not good enough. Simple as that.

Shved seemed to pay most games last year and looks fit? What's the issue, although glad to see a glimpse of bayo

I'd have him and Forrest share the right side duties and MJ and Sincy on the other flank.

Strange we’re not seeing him. Maybe struggling to adapt?

Hopefully not really want him to make an impact here.

Answers and some clarity are needed regardless of whatever the case is. We won a watch getting him. Performing well with a pish team in a far better league. It is inexplicable atm a boy of his pedigree isn't even on the bench.

Games coming thick and fast. We all as supporters so want bayo and shved to be a success because they have the potential to be game winners for us. It was good to see bayo on this evening. Hopefully we won't see edouard at all the weekend and bayo comes on for Griff and can bag his first league goal. Same with Forrest although he most likely will start could see shved on bench. Johnson has shown a fraility with the amount of minutes he can play so he will need a rest. Could see Lennon start Morgan next week in Stockholm.

Edouard will start this weekend, and there is zero reason why he shouldn’t.

Neil Lennon has explained Marian Shved's continued absence as he urged the sidelined winger to give him more.

The Ukrainian, a January buy from Karpaty Lviv, arrived at Celtic this summer after spending the rest of the season back on loan with his former club.

But he's made only one fleeting competitive appearance - a late goalscoring cameo against Nomme Kalju in Champions League qualifying - and was left out entirely during Thursday night's win over AIK.

Some fans have been left baffled by Shved's lack of minutes, having arrived to much hype amid tantalising footage of the 21-year-old in action back in his homeland.

Lennon revealed Shved is still adapting to life in Scotland and backed him to emerge as the season continues.

"A little bit frustrated, he just needs to up his tempo and his work," the Celtic boss said.

It's still, again, an adaptation period for him. He's 21, in a new country and doesn't speak great English.

So, we know we've got a good player on our hands and we'll see more of him as the season progresses."

if a decent offer comes in I think he will go on loan as I don’t trust Lennon comments at all.

Hope I am wrong when I see Morgan in team it screams to me weakness

Work and tempo is manager speak for “lazy *”

For me, Eddy and Forrest for about 60mins, so they can keep upping their sharpness and hopefully help kill the game and then the lads get a half hour to ease into games - although I'd also be cool if it was Griff ahead of Bayo...

I'm glad he's somewhat explained it, now i'd love him to explain why Lewis Morgan gets minutes despite being utterly useless.

I’m sure if he’s playing games he will adapt a lot quicker. He’s played and scored, why drop him right away.
