Why do people act as if this guy is a * player. We haven't seen enough of him to decide that. He is an injury prone player or a complete shitebag that won't play unless 100% fit.

 

He was a * signing. He wasn't even eligible to play for us in Europe last season. He wants to retire here, his career has ended. If he has been able to train over the past couple of months he should be fit to play. If he was quality he would not have been sold by leipzig and would be ahead of simunovic or hendry

Brendan said last window he tried persuading him to leave but he's happy taking our money while not even completing 90mins for us, Brendan should have him help the ground staff or painting the stands, make him train at 5am every day and make his life misery, though I think he'll see out his contract, which is his right but wish he'd * of

 

If he was quality, Lepzig wouldn't have sold him haha. You could say that about every player we sign. Lepzig were going with younger CB's. I also didn't say he was good but also can't say he is a * player as not seen enough of him.

 

When will we be able to read about this fiasco?

 

Well, not really, as every player we sign doesn't come from Leipzig.

Now, we haven't seen enough of him, this is true and he does appear to have a bit of a fitness issue. However he has now been here for a full 12 months and he can't possibly have been on the injury list for that full 12 months. We know this because we have seen pictures of him training and from the managers previous statement that he came in, got an injury then didn't feature when fit as others got in front of him in the pecking order. And from the fact he made a cameo in a friendly in pre season.

We have, though, seen enough of jack hendry to confidently say he is an appalling defender. So, if the managers judgement is to be trusted and he rates jack hendry as a better option than Marvin compper surely it's safe to say that he can't be up to much, or to put it bluntly a bit *.

 

C-mon mate, he might not be THE worst but there is surely an argument for it.

While there have been comparatively bad signings IE Virgo, du wei, Hannah, boerrigter ,musonda etc the only one that really stands out as being worse is possibly shiedt due to alleged outlay. Surely that makes him even just a little bit close to being our worst.

Did Brendan not take full responsibility for the signing at the last AGM ?

Seems like complacency to me...someone hasn’t done their homework whether it be Lawwell ,Congerton (probably) or Brendan....

There’s a few other signings in there too and that was before Brendan’s time !

Yes and no. He said ultimately all players are his responsibility. But it sounded like he said he wanted an experienced CB and this is what they gave him.
