I find that quite moving.

 

Sitting watching question time here and the panel (most of) and members in the Welsh crowd. Refuse to understand, or see it from both angles..

Slating what the Ira did, and McGuiness but not what the British army started..

Same * again, and wasn't one counter argument from the crowd..

 

It boils my * listening to Brit *(mostly Welsh) sitting on Question Time saying that Martin McGuinness was a terrorist, Norman Tebbit is "beyond reproach" in his comments about McGuinness, and that nobody should be saying anything complimentary about McGuinness because the IRA wreaked more havoc in "this country"(can't remember the IRA bombing Wales too often) than ISIS ever have.

Absolutely myopic stuff.

How about the havoc the Brits wreaked in Ireland and the Irish lives that were lost in part due to Mr Tebbit and his cohorts in the UK government during the Troubles? Does none of that count for anything?

 

It's a disgrace that bitter young * on the panel get's to spout that * unchallenged and the old red top..

I don't think the sheer scale of this funeral has been appreciated yet. Derry's population is around 100,000 yet nearly 60,000 are estimated to have attended Martin's funeral. Incredible day.

 

What people are probably unaware of is there are hundreds of visitors to Martin's grave every day, some are tourists and some are just ordinary members of the public, but since he died the scale of visitors to the graveyard has been so high that the Church has taken the unprecedented step of making the graveside private after 7pm to allow Martin's family to visit him in peace.

Martin's widow is also no longer able to receive normal post in the morning, as the sheer volume of sympathy letters and cards from across the world, means that post to the McGuinness home now requires a special van to deliver the post in huge sacks. They're getting about a dozen sacks of mail each day.

 

Just over a year since this great man passed away.

His family organised a sponsored walk to raise funds for the cancer centre at Altnagelvin.

 

Theres a reason for that

 

If the IRA where infiltrated massively by MI5 (which i also believe they where at the latter stages) Whatelse could Martin do with the movement.
