Day 5

Wow... long night and a short day!

The town had the scent of blood now, that taste of vengennce and delivering their brand of justice. Mob justice! Lynch mob justice!

But the death of Slaw seemed only to stir up that feeling of wanting this rounded up, as the citizens wasted ittle time in wanting to smoke out the one remaining Mafia member.

L picked up Tim Time on their way to work that day, as they often did, to head out to the construction site. The pair of them caually conversed, from the recent rash of murders in the town, to the referendum to the Euros, and as they did, he eased into the conversation.

When they arrived, found their usual parking area filled, so L drove them around about a block down the road, and turned into an alleyway. Casually getitng out of the car, L hung back just a little, as Tim Time began the walk to the site, only to be cut off and ambushed by Anton, Summer and V.

"We know it is you!" Anton exclaimed, "and now we will show you what happens when you miss with our town."

Tim Time panicked, tried to back away... right into L, standing there, implacable, his usual cheery demeanour changed in almost a blink of an eye to the stormy presence standing there. Tim barely had the chance to speak, as Summer swung down his wrench upon his skull. The others likewise began landing blow after blow, leaving him a bloodied pool, beaten and broken.

V removed the wallet from the deadman's coat, opeening it to find...
