    IMG_0330.JPG Really liked the fireplace thread so I thought I'd share the pond I built...all natural stone .

    The wildlife it brings is amazing..newts..frogs ..the dragon flies are amazing in the summer but they're far too quick for me to get any photos of them...attracts loads of different butterflies too and the birds are always bathing in the waterfall part .

    Fish wise I have Gudgeon..minnows..2 goldfish and a Koi...looking forward to a bit of gardening in the summer.

    That is brilliant mate.
    Hope to replace our old pond with something similar. We’ve just had a butterfly house put up & as they love nettles we’ve transplanted some into a couple of large pots, to stop them spreading. Are your electrics wired in or do you use solar? I’ve heard the solar gear is pretty useless but like to hear first hand before we decide.

    Great to give nature a hand :notworthy

    Belter. If you need any help filling in the gaps then geez a shout, I know 2 of the best tilers/stonemasons about. Just don’t challenge them to a square go...

    Cracker. Would love a pond for a bit of wild life. Actually would love any wild life but the oul bat next door to me has 4 cats ffs can't even get a bird in my garden no matter what food I leave out.

    The pump and the uv light are run on electric but i do have a couple of UV fountain type things for a feature.

    Thats class. Mine is alot simpler but all the weeds have grown around it so still looks cool. Got no fish tho i think the cats mustve had them
