    I delivered to the spt building right next to this about an hr before,George Square is where I deliver and can't believe this has happened, I'm in shock bcoz the place was absolutely mobbed with families as today is the 1st day of school holidays.

    The truck might not have been doing the bins as such that needs a full crew and just had the driver on board.

    Going A to B or even doing hotel or shop bins ect there is just the driver.

    One witness reportedly said lorry was travelling almost 70 when it plowed into the people.
    How they know that is beyond me. Only way they could check that is the traffic light cameras and cctv around George square.

    Saw loads of ambulances going past the office today and everyone was wondering what the * was going on. Shame, especially so close to Christmas :54:
