Comments here seem similar to those said about McGregor and Armstrong last year. He's only 21. Give him a couple more years yet and see if he can break through.

 

100% would rather we kept him and developed henderson than spent money on mcginn.
Neither are currently good enough to take us up a level, both have potential.

And Tbf most (myself included) has written off a 24 year old Armstrong a year ago. Hendo just turned 21 last month.

Definitely worth keeping around even if not making the grade as of yet. Somethings there.

 

Exactly. Think brendan sees something in him at least. Young and can certainly develop. Love to see him step up to the armstrong level in a couple yesrs

Henderson must be the most overrated player on this forum. Really don't get what some people see in him.

 

I would fear the same about mcginn though. Don't reckon either are good enough to improve the starting team. But i personally would rather give henderson the opportunity at developing here than spend money on mcginn. Both looked good at a championship hibs, hard to choose one over the other if we are going for a development player.

henderson doesn't have the same physical capablities as armstrong - he's a tidy player but don't think he will make it , hope he can prove me wrong but i feel as if english championship/ best of the rest spl is his level

 

Surprised that considering he'd been following their results this season plus it was Lennon who gave him his debut

Honestly I do rate Henderson and I think he's got real talent that just isn't being utilized here. I imagine he'll be sold this summer. With us being linked with every 21 year old fringe Chelsea and Man City player for a decent fee, I can't see guys like Henderson, Bitton, and GMS lasting.

Like Hendo, but think it's ultimately time to part ways.

Just a hunch but I dunno if he wants it enough and applies his self 100% daily..

I remember what he was like when he burst on the scene. All action and non stop. He's not that player anymore whenever I see him and more cultured, but I don't know if he's better for it..

I like him myself but he certainly doesn't look like making an impression here now..

 

I do see where your coming from. On the pitch and off the pitch he seems completely opposite. On the pitch he works hard and gives his all, off the pitch seems very laid back and generally relaxed. Could just be his personality, but does beg the question as to whether that effects his training and how Celtic views him.
