I prefer Noel's voice tbh, but still a great chanter at his peak.

Never liked Oasis so don't really know what he was like back in the day but anytime I've seen him performing live he sounds * horrific.

Noel sounds like a far better chanter.

Where they equal in Oasis with certain songs or was one of them the lead singer?

Prefer Noel but * Oasis. Most overrated band to have ever existed.

Noel is the better singer. The thing with Liam is he isn't an amazing singer, but no-one else could sing a lot of their songs and do it the same way. Instantly recognisable. So many of the songs don't need some incredible vocalist.

His voice is Oasis to so many folk.

On the other hand, this is one of my favourite Oasis songs, if not the favourite. It was written and performed by Noel. The story behind it is what makes it so special for me too, one of the most 'vulnerable' type songs he ever attempted.

Be Here Now (the song) doesn't get enough love.

One of my favourite Oasis songs, more so the live versions.

Yep, it's a great song :50: The Live version from the GMEX is brilliant. I listen to that album more than any others actually.

Fade In-Out, It's Gettin Better Man, I Hope I Think I Know and Be Here Now are tremendous tunes.

In fact, my favourite Oasis song is The Fame, which was a B-Side to All Around the World from that time. Closely followed by Step Out, another B-side.

Listened to his performance with coldplay, thought it was good.

Listening to Familiar to Millions now, his voice isn't angelic but does the job. Similar to Ian Brown

This is class, not quite as good as his 1997 voice but easily tops anything from roughly '98 onwards in my opinion.

    Great tune that.

Liam's problem has never been his recording vocals - pretty much smashes it first time every time in the studio, he's just really * hit or miss now even more when it comes to live performances.
