Been a difficult start for him due to his injury and lack of game time we have not see his full potential

Think a loan move will do him good

The thing that really annoyed me was that Hayes was getting game time ahead of Morgan and a totally out of form Sinclair as well, Morgan should of been given a run of games so we can actually see what he’s got. A few cameos then away on loan, so annoying.

Been very vocal about Morgan or Hayes getting a run of at least 10 games on the left, one of my biggest criticism of Rodgers is his blindness to Sinclair's terrible form

But they didn’t actually do that, did they?

I don't think any of us know with absolute certainty the ins and outs of the McGinn saga. Leaving that aside, I still think there is a genuine antipathy and hostility from Hibs towards our club right the way from boardroom to terraces. In those circumstances, my own inclination would be to do nothing to help them.

However, we do need to do what's best for us and for Morgan. I don't subscribe to the view that we should strengthen those around us to make it more difficult for Sevco. It might be pragmatic but we're Celtic, we should be better able to take care of the Huns ourselves. I know, Iknow, last week was not a good indicator). If there's an option to go to Sunderland, I would prefer to take it. I quite like Jack Ross and trust him to bring Morgan on further.

We didn’t get him because we didn’t offer enough money.

Don’t try and blame Hibs for us not getting McGinn.

See if Aberdeen want to take him, it proved a good move for Christie going there !!

I agree, * hibs. Their support detest us and I really don't get the respect/admiration they get from some of ours.

As for Morgan, don't think it's going to happen for him. When he's being loaned out while at the same time there are two younger guys, who have barely 50 professional starts between them, loaned in to occupy positions he could then it doesn't bode well.

Looking like another failed transfer, unless we can flip him for more than we paid.

Morgan’s miles off being good enough.

No idea why we didn’t leave him at StMirren or sort another loan for him.

I think that you are refusing to answer the question because it contradicts your assertion that Hibernian set a non-negotiable price for McGinn from the outset and simply held firm.

Our shortcomings do not preclude all of the other actualities of the negotiations; Hibernian were clearly disinclined to do business with us.

    We should reciprocate their warmth.

Hibs had a price. We failed to pay it 3 times. Aston Villa did.

    It's not rocket science.

That's glossing over the facts quite a bit.
Hibs price to us was consistently 4million.
Aston villa did not offer, nor pay, THAT asking price.

Hibs only accepted our offer after villa had a completely below asking price offer accepted. Then McGinn chose villa over us.

Aston Villa offered significantly less than the reported valuation, and Hibernian accepted it without hesitation.

And it was still higher than anything we bid over a needless 2 month negotiation process. £50k increases, a starting bid of under £1.5mil. All pointless and all totally avoidable on our behalf.

Not totally pointless. We saved ourselves £2.7 million which puts us in a better position to pay out dividends for 2018/19 accounting period. Every cloud and all that...

Ignoring the fact that wee didn’t even offer what Aston Villa paid. It’s our fault.

Also neither of you know if there are add ons involved on top of that initial £2.7 million.
