Because he's pumping Summer, and you're not.

Or because he's pumping Summer, and not you?

Pretty soon he is going to cost us in a big game through his * poor distribution. He's a * bomb scare with the ball at his feet. He always looks far too lazy and half arsed when he has the ball.

    Beginning to dislike the guy.

Euromillions for next week while yer at it big fella..

In all seriousness I think next summer will be Gordon's time up (pun in there somewhere). I wouldn't expect anything drastic to happen in regards to the GK position before then.

Good shot stopper and I do like him but I think we could improve if we looked hard enough.

    Abysmal distribution once again today.

In games like today when he's not had to make any big saves you realise just how bad his distribution is, gave me the fear at times.

Couple of fans at the game behind me, were going at it over Gordon today. Thought there was going to be a barny

The guy sticking up for him was blaming Rodgers for making him pass the ball rather than punt :56::56:Seemingly it is up to the manager to change his tactics rather than the keeper to get better *

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only time I can remember the ball touching Gordon's hands in the entire game (in play) was when he punched it out from either a corner or a cross.

    Is that correct?

That for CG is the nub of it, handling in some games is almost immaterial due to the amount of possession Celtic now have. Most keepers spend hours practicing angles (positioning), double saves (reflexes) and crosses (punch or claiming) but this doesn't always reflect what they have to do in games.

CG against Munich obviously had a 'traditional' keepers performance, but domestically 75-85% of his work is with his feet keeping possession and switching the point of attack.

I believe Cruyff once needed talking out of fielding an outfield player as a keeper at Barca when he was a manager at the Nou Camp, Johan was way ahead of his time!

    Get Bitton some gloves!!
