I would take him just now but would want another RB signed also.

    No one said that.

I genuinely have no idea how to respond to that.

I see that you are still incapable of understanding analogies.

He is one of the people responsible for our current right-back predicament. That is plainly true. How is saying so an attack on him?

What kind of argument is that? :giggle1:

The situation with the RB is dereliction of duty.
Ask the youngest Celtic fan, the oldest Celtic fan, the pished Celtic fan, any Celtic fan what is the position we need filled they would give the same answer.

Should have been the first bit of business done. Pay over the odds? * damm right, if Luton wanted 4m for their guy...stump up 4.5 and get the job done instead of waiting for Bournemouth to stroll in.

The way we do business scunners me to * sometimes.

You genuinely have no idea how to respond to most things. You also clearly have no idea how about the structure of the club.

I really don’t think so mate. I think he’s gave his targets to the board, and the board have yet to get it over the lines. Lenny isn’t the negotiating man.

Do you think he hasn’t gave the board his targets at right back?

It’s an argument for getting the right man or just getting any old RB in.

I like that answer mate, I really do:50:

Multi-*-tasking. I honestly don’t think our board has ever heard of it :56:

I remember what it was like the last time on here.. we had to create a ‘We are Neil Lennon’ group..

Can see it being pretty brutal if we hit a sticky patch or get knocked out a cup.

I agree with that, except the not watching players part, need to watch a player live to properly scout a player I think.

The rest of it, yes, it may be a case of Lenny setting the standards too high and just go get somecunt like O’Donnell in just now and deal with the proper target later.

I don’t think he wants to fill the squad with * like that though, I feel like he probably thinks Ralston or Forrest at wingback are those options.

And that, is very open to criticism.

    Aye, fully behind that mate.

I’m not sure the rest of the fanbase would give that sort of leeway. I don’t know what it is just now but we’re full of permarage.

I think we are just starting to panic a bit after a good start to the transfer window, we still have visions of the AEK * show and it was the RB position that killed us over those two legs.

The manager doesn’t need to scout a player. It’s why you very rarely see a manager at another teams game unless it’s the week they play them.

It’s an outdated way of doing things. Which is a problem throughout out the club and one of the reasons we’ve ended up with Lennon as manager but that’s a different argument.

He wanted to give Lustig and Izaguirre extensions, sees Bitton as a big player and loves Jonny Hayes. I somehow doubt it’s Lennon’s standards being too high that are the reason we don’t have a RB.

He can’t think Ralston is a serious option or he wouldn’t have played Ajer there before him, while playing Bitton CB, and now saying he wants two new RB’s.

Which was my point about how much we’ve * up our scouting network and everything to do with it under Congerton. We should have the options available and ready to roll but it’s down to him to do so and that is absolutely * ridiculous.

Lustig was definitely the steady option and Hayes is a reliable steady player, bot the type that you’d shift on just now when you’re trying to both rid the squad of dross and are short in his positions. That’s again just my opinion though and I’d agree with that.

We played a lot of the game with Forrest as wing back, after injuries we shifted to Ajer at right back.

I’m not denying he wants 2 new RB’s, if you think that’s the point I’m making I’m making my point in a * stupid way :56:

See I think you’re taking people criticising Lennon far too personally and getting defensive for no real reason :giggle1:

As far as I can see no one in here is solely blaming Lennon for the RB situation. You seem to think it’s everybody else’s fault but Lennon’s though, which is what people are challenging.

I’m not saying that, I’m saying the biggest majority lies at the feet of those in the job before him and those that are employed to get the deals over the line.

I honestly don’t think Lenny hasn’t put forward those he wants to fill the right back position. That’s pretty much it.

I don’t think anyone is saying that either.

People are just, rightly, slating everyone involved for the handling of a priority position.

I don’t get how it’s a managers fault if he’s identified a position and the players he wants and then handed it over to the negotiators to get us talking to him and it not being there yet is the managers fault.

No one is saying it’s simply his fault though?

Same way he was getting the praise for signing Jullien and Bolingoli.

Canny even be * anymore :giggle1:

There’ll always be an excuse when it comes to Lennon getting criticised for some.

    And Love Island’s on.
