Vile and extremely ignorant remark about a guy suffering from mental health issues/depression. After a comment like that you should be the one who is hanging his head in shame.

Ah another one who now believes it’s impossible to criticise Griffiths. Colour me shocked.

Lennon knows all about what Griffiths has gone through. I’m pretty sure that if Griffiths was still suffering from depression the way he was then he would be nowhere near the squad. He would be having time off and taken out of the firing line so that these debates aren’t even a thing.

But that’s not the case. He’s been back in the squad for months now and appears to be nowhere closer to full fitness.

Aye that would fit better with Griffiths going to Hibs, he really needs away from the pressure here to hopefully kick on.

Get the two of them there and see if they can form a partnership.

Hibs would be a good fit, they would love him there and he would feel loved.
Maybe rediscover his Mojo, start banging on the goals and then, one way or the other, make a call at seasons end.
His career just seems to have stalled.

It's a good move. Get him banging in goals and help strengthen others against the huns is a win win for us.

What rumours did he start? Knowing Tam personally (Tim btw) they wouldn't have been "rumours".

However, Lennon was adamant that the Scotland international will be remaining at the club this month.

"At the minute we have Odsonne [Edouard] and obviously [Leigh] Griffiths, and he is looking good," said Lennon.

"He's had a good Dubai trip and he's trained well again this week. So maybe not. We'll see how things go over the next few weeks.

"I cant comment on speculation surrounding any player, really. There has been a lot over the last few months regarding Griffiths, but he's hungry and he wants to play and he's made that pretty clear to me."

OK, that's good to hear, lets give him plenty of game time till end of month and then picture should become clearer.

Id still get him out on loan ,if he still has the desire to work hard he has to realise he's got to match fit ,he looked slow as * against sevco he ain't gonna get that sharpness coming on for 6 or 7 mins at the end of a game

If we loan out a striker I would rather it be Bayo. I had big hopes for Griffiths being fully fit and back to his best making a big impact for us this season and the fact that has not happened yet this season certainly hurt us in particular when Edouard got injured. According to Lennon Griffiths had a good camp in Dubai so my inclination would be keep Griffiths for the second half of the season but at this point almost look at it as a trial. Like you need to produce for the team at this point if your to have a future at Celtic beyond this summer and see how he does and make a decision on his long term future come the summer accordingly.
