I love Griff, he's been a bargain for us and delivers the goods time and time again but he's nowhere near Edouard when they're both at their best. Not even close.

Edouard is going to the very top of World Football.

Well Scoring Goals is a Strikers main job so I would say personally Leighs the best in the league for that.

We have the best 2 strikers in the league either way.

I know. Its good times when we are debating over two players as to who is the best striker in the league....and the both of them play for us. Yee * Ha! Its no like the 90s!

French Eddy is a far better player... And as mentioned is destined for the top.

But Griff is still the 2nd best Striker in the league, fully fit! Thats without my green tinted specs on!

    Easily.

His 31 goals in the 2015/16 (Ronny's 2nd season) won us the league. Our next top league scorer was Rogic with 8.

If you took away the goals he scored that season there would be a 15 point swing, which is the exact margin we won the league by.

I have heard at least 3 of our players have been injuured twice (each) warming up in the indoor astroturf pitch (the one always shown on celtic youtube).Apparently its shocking and the snake wanted an new full sized pitch in its place(One of the reasons why he * off).

That's an interesting debate, mate. Even last year, Eddy was clearly the best striker in Scotlanf; this season he's in another stratosphere altogether.

The only interesting question is who is the best of the rest and, on form and in a good place mentally, a genuine case can be made for Griffiths.

Still early with Bayo and personally I've seen nothing from Morelos so far to suggest he's better than Leigh (admittedly I've only seen him against us). He's no Eddy, but Griff has scored good goals against good Eurooean teams, the English national team, etc. He's a really goof striker.

But yeah, Eddy is on another planet from any other striker in Scotland. Of course he is. Claiming anyone else than him as the best in Scotland just shows a lack of understanding of the game.

Wee Griff for me is more instinctive than Ed, but Ed has more strings to his bow for me.
