Talking about addiction ain't taboo nor does it make people feel uneasy and no one has been banned for discussing mental health or addiction, what they have been banned for is specifically ignoring staff warnings with regards to spreading speculation and rumours by posting it on here.

Griff needs to fight for his future with regards to his career and off field aspects of his life......seems to really struggle to adhere to the same rules as the rest of the team.....there's only so much a club can do before cutting him loose.

Sympathy only goes so far....you just can't be pictured at the track, having a bet and a beer with your mates when you're telling your boss that your heads not in it.

Nobody would get away with it in any other kind of everyday job really would they ?

BR may feel he's being played a bit and maybe he feels that Leigh isn't doing enough to help himself.

I'm a huge fan of Leighs but that picture seems disrespectful to me.

I'd also add that there seems to have been an issue or issues between BR and Leigh almost from the start with continual injuries stopping him from producing the form he had been on because what manager would drop a 40+ goal merchant without reason?

I feel there really is more to this relationship than meets the eye and I think niggling injuries resulting in Leigh being dropped were used as a wake up call.....I don't think it worked with the player.....there's just some guys who can't stop the nonsense.....I'm sure most of us have encountered this type of character flaw in friends or colleagues.....or indeed, ourselves.

I'd say to Leigh that he has his future in the balance here and he needs to just look around him and see all the 'nearly rans' in the professional football player world and ask himself does he want to join them or fight to stabilize himself and get back to what he's great at.

    Hail Hail Leigh.

I think Leigh should have went with the squad to Dubai and maybe did some one on one work. Bit of sun on his back with the boys hard work followed by some chill out time could have done him the world of good. Hope to see him back playing soon however and hope he is getting the help for his demons :ynwacelti love the guy!

Why not ? Yes they may well do. Depends on the conversations between the individual and their employer.

I got a post taken down for saying he should avoid social media as it more often than not a negative enviroment especially for someone with his profile & personal problems (problems both Rodgers and Griffiths have publicly acknowledged I may add). To me it feels a bit like open discussion and debate is being closed down unnecessarily by trigger happy mods.

Your post was probably deleted along with a whole lot of posts to clean the thread up when it was full of speculation and rumours and nothing more.

While we're here, if you have a complaint about the moderation of the forum then please report posts that you're unhappy with or pm a member of staff and raise your complaint or concerns there....not here on the main forum.

Yes you're right....I should have said something along the lines of 'after repeated attempts to work on the problem over a prolonged period'......only my opinion of course but thanks for pointing my mistake out.
