    There's an average of over 100,000 flights every single day mate. Take your chances!

    If there were 100 plane crashes every single day, you'd still have a 99.9% chance of your plane not crashing.

    Yes if an engine fails on a helicopter it doesn’t just drop out the sky.

    I love flying, flown in loads of small aircraft, my old man has his private pilots licence and a flight school.

    Had a shot of flying chipmunks, cessnas etc and flown in some super old sketchy aircraft as well.

    Would fly in a helicopter no bother, the chances of dying in a helicopter or a plane are more than slim, it’s one of the most heavy regulated industries going.

    Jumping in your car everyday yields a far greater chance of death or severe injury than flying ever would

    Without sounding too insensitive or crass, you’d think they’d have confirmed deaths by now

    The reporting is strange on this one. Normally they are quick to confirm how many were on-board without confirming names until next of kin have been informed.

    They've avoided everything so far.

    Tragic first and foremost for the families affected by this, and for the football club and supporters. Must be horrific for everyone involved.

    * Bless them.

    Any news on what went wrong with the helicopter, seems strange that they’d even be allowed to take off from inside a stadium and fly over a busy area

    RIP to the 5 people that died

    I don’t give a * if your more at risk in a car. I’ll take my chances in a metal box on wheels because it is on the ground. I don’t have a fear of flying and have been on the plane thinking if this went down what would I do. I’m at the stage now I’m comfortable to think I would close my eyes and just hold my family’s hands. All the screaming and running up and down ain’t gonna save nobody at 25,000 feet. * it. But helicopters are a step too far. Don’t trust them at all. Like the look of them but not from inside one. Just been too many helicopters crash over the years for my liking.

    Oh no... A qualified pilot.

    You're lucky to be alive.

    Scotia mate, I might be wrong here, but I don't think a commercial plane has ever crashed with a woman pilot .. so maybe we should all try and get a woman pilot ...

    Just horrible but one thing he’s assured of is a legacy that will live on for decades not just in football but sport in general.

    He told people he’d win the Premiership, people laughed in his face and he went and done it with as big odds as you’ll ever find for a Title winning team in any Country.

    * Bless them all :shamrock:

    Really sad news

    Reading today about the impact he and his family have had on Leicester as a whole makes you understand why so many people are upset, he was heavily involved with a lot in the city outside of football and everyone loved him.

    I was in a chopper crash when I was in the army but it was a crash landing, Pilot survived and said if we weren't close enough to the ground we would have died, if a helicopter starts to spin before it crashes or blows up in midair, then you wont feel a thing but you are guaranteed to die, from the news it sounds like something happened in flight so they were likely dead in an instant which is a very small consolation but at least it's better than burning to death.

    Also he seemed like one of the few good owners around, he cared about the club, he was active and went to the games, and he brought the club success while respecting it and it's traditions, it's no wonder the fans and players loved him, R.I.P.
