    Thats pretty much the soundtrack to my life.
    Fuxking love the doors and rolling stones. Zepplin are up there as well, absolutely fantastic.
    Really surprised you like all them and can't really get in to zepplin man.



    Although, think the hype they had back in the day would have put me right off them. I can't go the current generations love in for some * awful average bands lately.
    Few years ago, that fad of sounding to everything artic monkeys or Babyshambles did was cringe as *.
    But thankfully we all know that 99%or their songs will die out and be forgetting about before long.
    Bands like zepplin are on a completely other level, where music as a whole was 10x better than it is currently and their songs really do stand the test of time.

    In another 30 years we will all still be listening to zepplin, bowie, doors, rolling stones etc. In the next 10years no * will remember any of the current dross.

    i tend to listen to sabbath more, but their is a certain magic around led zeppelin, i think because they never really did music videos, or singles, they had a godlike stature, and i think ending the band when bonham died was a noble thing to do, rather than trying to flog the zeppelin horse through the 80s.

    I find it interesting that people often talked about oasis as being the next beatles, not just in sound but in popularity in the uk, but in america led zeppelin were the beatles of the 70s, the impression my dad gives is that led zeppelin were massive in the uk too ofcourse but had more of a cult/underground following

    infact checking best selling music acts, in the us led zeppelin are 4th, in the uk they are 30th!

    Love some zeppelin stuff but hated some of it just as much though. For the classic british rock deep purple are the best for me by a distance and as a guitarist ritchie blackmore is on a different level imo. And he is quite open when it comes to admitting when he blagged an idea from someone elses music.
