Bohemians with some U19 players won away to Peterhead in the Irun Brú Cup this past weekend. Sligo Rovers won as well.

Will be interesting to see how that goes if Bohemians decide to field their strongest team.

Cork V Dundalk for the fourth year in a row in the FAI Cup.

1-1 at the minute - hopefully Cork can go 3 in a row.

Don’t watch a whole lot of LOI but thought it was a decent game.

Dundalk probably deserved it in the end. The two Derry lads didn’t set the world alight today but I really rate them both

Good game. Both teams havin a good go at one another. Dundalk just shading it in the final 3rd.
The 4th final in a row between these two. Shouts boring. But it isn't, as 30,000 turned up to watch it.
Other clubs have plenty of catchin to do though!!

I plan on trying to follow this in the coming season.

Finding reliable coverage in the UK will be the hard part

The only club I see challenging beyond Dundalk and Cork City in the new season would be Shamrock Rovers.

Since there are a lot of Celtic supporters in Ireland do you think its a good idea if possible, for Celtic to use Celtic TV to show League of Ireland games.

Is this a thing or a suggestion?

A suggestion maybe. Not sure if there would be much support for it but if there was then Celtic should enquire about it unless they have already done so.

Ah right! As suggestions go, it isn't the worst I have heard! I would certainly be in favour of it, especially if they broadcast them in England. I have no idea about how difficult or worthwhile it would be though.

Don’t think it’d get much use, the league of Ireland isn’t one you can follow very closely without attending.

Vast majority of supporters would rather attend games than watch on TV from my personal experience, clubs would much rather tickets sales too (Shamrock Rovers asked RTE to stop showing their games on tv as it was costing them money)

Would be welcomed by emigrants or people that don’t live at home anymore but I don’t think that number of people would be worth making the service for

Another dreadful performance from City. How they could do with Bolger in midfield. He was excellent for Shams. Those * are real contenders this year.

Crazy game that one ended up 5-3 for Bohemians. Usually Bohemians games are tight ones this season as they are not the best goal scoring team but are pretty good defensively for LOI.

Another cracking goal from Bohs Dan Mandroiu v Scumrock Rovers on Friday nite.
This lad doesn't score tap ins.
Has had two brilliant free kicks v Pats & UCD this season too.
    Check them out!!
