Not any more, my mate who is a STH is going to have a go for me.
I'm getting someone to do the same too. Let me know how you get on.
Criteria is you need to be a STH and have been to one in the last 19 away games or something. My mate got one for me.
Is your name on your ticket aye?
My pals name will be on it but just gonna chance it, along with quite a lot of others id imagine. Only way I'd have been able to go tbh
Gently rubbing out the name using baby wipes has done the trick previously. New name and Prest in you go. Can't see 9000 all being checked but that's the chance you take.
Aye mate, a lot of the folk I'll be there with are in the same boat as me anyway.
If its in someone else's name you'd need to doctor it to your name as you have to show yer passport aswell to get in. Dunno how strict it'll be worth 10k slightly illebriated
That's what I thought. When the STH get the opportunity to buy more surely it won't be in their name as it needs to match the persons passport/ID.
Hopefully mate. Good luck.
Why do we never put euro away games on general sale even if the STH criteria doesnt sell out anyone know? Just out of curiousity happened with Leipzig last year too.
By selling to ST only Celtic have a record of exactly who is attending these games. In theory they can track down any trouble but the system is full of holes. For example investors get offered far more than one away ticket. They don't have to provide travel details and many of those tickets end up in the hands of their friends, some of whom are not ST holders.
Sale to ST's also acts as an incentive to become a ST holder.
Remaining tickets go on sale on the 19th to sth at 9.30am good luck bhoys and ghirls.
I've got a ticket off my mate and his name will.be on it. Speaking to a few guys who have been to away trips regularly they have said that the names havent been checked and that Celtic put it on the website purely as a deterrent.
The only time I've had a ticker was last year against Salzburg and I bought it over there...cant recall if it had names.
As you say, the chances of them checking an allocation of 9k surely has to be low?
Either way it's worth chancing it. And I definitely will be.
I think the passport thing is a policy in italian/European football and is more a protection against hooliganism/counter terrorism technique, when you are buying direct from the club for domestic games. Could be wrong.
Not really for the away fans mate.
Wed 16th they go on sale not 19th.
So it is.. Sooner I get my contacts in the better.
I went on to viagogo website and got a ticket for the tribunal revere it's the main stand in the corner near the curvature south 39 euro
Am I right in saying this is the usual main away section for visiting fans to Lazio matches?
Though they might extend it outwards for this match
Yeah think so mate
