Large Hadron Collider ENDS THE WORLD...Not quite

its saying 40 days again

 

Total Anticlimax.

Spent all my saving on prostitutes this morning so find that the world didnt end after all.

My wifes now left me, as have my kids, I lost my job for telling my boss to * off, crashed my car and sold my house - I suppose my world ended today right enough.

 

And 40 nights??

This is getting even more biblical......and here's me a poor Prophet too.

 

They where just turning it on today and letting a proton do a victory lap. They are not colliding any protons until October and that's what's supposed to create the Higgs Boson, the particle that they believed to be created by the big bang.

 

Well after they do the Wee Big Bang I'll post:

exactly...nothing could possibly happen yet anyway as the atoms haven't clashed or whatever yet, they just turned the thing on.
