You make a fair point here. It's frustrating that we the fans need to as the lifeblood of this club work together in the same direction rather than protest here and there in different ways.

 

This window, honestly I don't know but salary/remuneration isn't based on a month usually. I thought at the start of the window he done fine - new deals for players Edouard signed etc. Then Mcginn happened and I was * fuming at Lawwell as I believed it was his fault, then I read Lion's post about Mcginn wanting assurances he would be a starter and that changed my opinion. As for what is happening now the truth is none of us have a clue what is going on in the background regarding who is wanted or what is being done.
Judging his performance, from a fans point of view, isn't probably the best starting place as it's not very (you will hate me using this word so sorry) pragmatic mate.

Ah, it wasn't the interim report thats my mistake then sorry. However as you have clearly read the criteria for the 'ELTIP' I suggest you go and re-read it.

I've not been able to find it online - it wasn't in the interim report as you incorrectly suggested earlier - if you can provide me with an article/statement/report which details the criteria I'd be much obliged

 

We are 3 seasons in now and our scouting network consists of Lawells son watching youtube highlights and getting the man city youth players to play for us and Rodgers picking out the best player performances against us in the league. Seriously what is the point in Congerton?! Is he not allowed to leave the country? scared of flying?

I am slightly confused here as I thought, as I said, as you knew about the ELTIP you had found it ? Hence why i said re-read it. I know that's how I know what ELTIP and the criteria is ..

Anyway Page 22 it clearly states the criteria, the important part is below, although point (i) might come as a sore one for a few on here.

- "(ii) that Celtic FC qualifies for and participates in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League in the applicable financial year." -

If we sign Mulumba and Benkovic and keep Dembele this will be a success of a window after looking like a disaster for a while.

Out went

Armstrong: Good player wasn’t always in the starting XI got a good fee for him.

Roberts: Was only on loan, great player didn’t hit the heights off his first season, Forrest preferred.

Erik: Didn’t quite cut it here

Coming in we have Édouard transfers fee smashed looks a great player! Arzani exciting young prospect. Mulumba one of the best players in the league 2nd half of last season and if we could get Benkovic in on loan that would be class. Solid CB.

 

Mulumbu and Benkovic would be nice, but I'd still be a little underwhelmed by a loan and a free transfer on deadline day after we already * up Champions League qualification.

 

I want 4 on top of dembele and boyata staying get it done lawell

Keep.. Dembele, Boyata.. bring in Benkovic, Mulumbu and a RB & all good in the Bhoyhood..

That’s not to excuse the unforgivable negligence shown in the first part of the window

 

In terms of the mulumbu signing am grateful. If Brendan thinks it'll improve our team then I trust it. Brendan is more qualified then any of us to judge that. But surely there is more coming!?

 

Brendan confims Mulumbu and Benkovic will be the only signings tomorrow and Dembele and Boyata Will not be sold

 

Signed some players but the point remains out transfer net spend this summer in terms of accounts year is nil

 

Part in bold, success? Really? Completely dragged our heels to back the manager, no champions league football.

I think it’s been a * shambles with the timeline, even if we sign two more. We should have had deals done before our game with AEK.
