Delighted Barca got *, Celtic’s unbeaten run last year remains high in the history books and shows how astonishing an achievement regardless the level.

I understand the sentiment but I would really have loved Barca to go Invincible, in La Liga that's quite an astonishing achievement.

I don't think it would have devalued our success at all. Well, the pundits who've already said it was easy for us are not going to change their stupid minds now.

Our success was incredible because of the state of the team when Brendan took over and the expectations of the fans was nowhere near qualifying for the CL, ending Man City's season and winning the Treble unbeaten. It really was phenomenal and it's a * shame we seem to have suffered a hangover this season but at the same time we're still on course for a historic 2nd treble. The fact we've been beat a few times this season and not performing well at all apart from the very important games says a lot about our success and we should remember that in a positive light no matter what happens next Saturday.

I mean ask most fans of any team and they'd agree, even though it's disappointing to see quality players performing under par, they'd be quite happy when those same players raise their performance in the games that matter. It shows they do care and it also provides us with success which is quite impressive.

Hopefully next season we'll be back to a better balance, not exactly invincible but a lot more entertaining.

It must be very difficult for Brendan trying to install a long term philosophy for success when our best players keep getting headhunted by major money men. I really don't have an answer to it especially as La Masia, regarded as the best youth academy in the world has been dry for a few years now although they seem to be getting back on track, the ability of teams like PSG to buy the very best talent creates a headache for the most optimistic self development approach.

Had a lump in my throat watching the game tonight, Iniesta is a phenom. Right up there in terms of neutral enjoyment and appreciation of any player that doesn’t play for Celtic.

    Proper end of an era.

Atletico have signed Rodri from Villarreal. Can't say I know much about him but by all accounts he's an incredible signing for them. 6'3 defensive midfielders.

Couple of journos saying he's similar to Busquets.
