    He's experienced, confident, a winner, quality and still has good pace. It's a no brainer. All of that for an area we're crying out for any of the above, nevermind all, and it's a very astute piece of business by Saint..

    If a 25 year old centre back was putting in the same performances he was in the Europe League last season we'd have no chance of signing him. Not a long term solution, but a good signing none the less.

    This is a great signing!

    I think its exactly what we need. A real experienced head at centre back to play with Erik. Someone who has just came out a good season for him to play alongside. He'll be confident and is someone that our younger players will look up to and hopefully learn a lot from.

    By all accounts he's a positive character aswell so I'm delighted

    Fantastic. A good experienced player meaning Ambrose is not playing again and even if he can't stay to the next season it gives us time to find a suitable replacement for Boyata.

    It's because he's CB, and they generally don't carry the flash and glory, like more attacking positions do. as long as he does less *-ups than Efe, we'll be OK.

    I wonder what number will he wear. Our squad is a mess. Our best defending line will have the numbers 63, 27, whatever he picks and 22/23. This looks like an american football side.

    Good short term signing imo,spent decent money on Jozo so think board will be wanting Brendan to develop him into a top cb when he returns from injury,Jozo can learn a lot from watching Kolo in the mean time.
