Welcome kolo. Hopefully his experience will steady our defence. Which has been needed for a few years now.

Happy with this. Experienced centre back, with plenty still to offer on the pitch.

    Not ecstatic but not disappointed.

Good experience but I worry he might let a few clangers go by him. An expensive Efe springs to mind - although Toure has at least been great in the past. :smiley-laughing002:

I dunno though. It's just when we sign experienced players like this they usually have a bit of sparkle - someone that the younger lads can look up to and learn from - Robbie Keane for example, or Roy Keane and what Ljunberg could have been. I don't get that from Toure.

A better signing than a lot of people will give credit for.

70 Champions League appearances, over 100 international caps, Premiership Titles and proved in the Europa League final he is still rapid for a centre half and rock solid as a defender.

Delighted with this, a ready made experienced leader to sit beside Erik.

Aye, when you say it like that :smiley-laughing002:

Better than buy anothger banger like Boyata or something. On a free too.

This. The type of experience that can be vital in big games.

I've been wanting an established experienced older head at the back for ages. Delighted with this. Hopefully we can get those two useless * Boyata and Ambrose away now as well.

Great signing, exactly what we need. Adds a lot of experience and resilience to the spine of our team. Getting him and Dembele in for roughly £400k is fantastic business for the club. Just need to splash the cash on a left winger and holding midfielder and we'll be on to something!

Great signing. A winner with a tonne of experience at the highest level. Still has his pace and he'll be reliable defensively. Toure and Erik at the back sounds very good to me.

I'm sure Sviatchenko and Simunovic will love having Toure here to learn from.
