Back to league action, a win is a must to get back on track and hopefully a few goals. Tough place to go mind.

Would like to see Mulumbu and Griffiths in for Ntcham and Edouard. Maybe Mikey J getting a start aswell.

    Come on the Champions.

    Gamboa
    Boyata
    Benkovic
    Tierney

    Broony
    Ajer
    Mulumbu

    Forrest
    Griff
    Johnston..

    4-3-3..

Steel in the middle. * that can mix it. But more height for set pieces with Boyata, Benkovic and Ajer. Enough going forward with plenty options on the bench..

    Mulumbu Brown
    Mcgregor
    Forrest Griffiths Johnston

Morgan, Edouard and Christie to come off the bench. You could swap mcgregor for rogic but i think Mcgregor is a better player and can get a goal from nowhere. Good thing with kilmarnock is i don't see them sitting back as much as St mirren or Hamilton, plus they were rotten against the huns. Going for a 2-0, griffiths double.

I like that team. It's a toss up between Calum and Ntcham for me though.

Really important game, must win and I hope to christ we turn up.

    Almost the exact same lineup..

Would give Ntcham a rest or drop though just to keep him on his toes..

Agree about the 2 10's also. Expecting more from both..

Ntcham is suspended for this, so i'd imagine callum or rogic will start.

    Ntcham is suspended anyway, forgot.:giggle1:

I'd actually quite like to see Ajer given a game as a defensive midfielder, but I can't see it.

Mulumbu could be a shout for a start, knows the surface of the pitch tbh.

Would like us to be a bit more direct at times during the match. It would give Killie's defensive shape a bit to think about.

Flew over my nut as well..

Can't see it either but I think he'd excel there. Especially now we have the option of moving him up with Benkovic in..

If we even went route one a half dozen times during a match it would give every defence something to think about.

The threat of mixing it up from the usual puts doubt in the minds of opponents. Our problem just now is that everyone we face knows how we are going to approach a game and can set up accordingly. Obviously sometimes we are just too good and when that happens we look irresistible, but most of the time these days we just play right into their hands.

Mix it up, go long, go outside, go inside. *, have Craig Gordon go on a mazy run now and again. Anything to confuse the other team and have them second guessing us and then the doubt creeps in.

Any reason for Izzy or just to give KT a rest? Same with Forrest.

Harsh on MJ too, if anyone is going to deputise for Jimmy it should be Mikey.

We have the makings of a good backline bar lustig , Boyata Benkovic and Tierney is pretty formidable going forward and not really any space for Ajer in the heart of that defense of playing 4 at back.

    Upfront Griff must play
if Edouard has to play of him to the left either drop a wide player for him or Rogic/McGregor for Mulumbu at times too.

    something like

    ...............Gordon
    Lustig Boyata Benkovic Tierney
    Forrest Brown Mulumbu Ntcham Edouard
    ..................Griffiths

I love izzy, but this isn't the match for him. We need tierney's pace for this game. Think morgan should come on as a substitute for this game instead of starting.
