He might look a decent player, but he has only played 19 first team games for St Ettienne !! * Arsenal

The problem is that he canny really say anything at this point, another team could come in with an offer that the Board would accept, i feel for KT here tbh, the club know he is our most valuable asset, any decision would be a business one.

It’s going to be difficult for him not to in a matter of weeks! He’s went from being a go to Press guy to radio silence, partially down to his injury granted, but he won’t be able to shy away forever.

The club and him have done nothing wrong but there will come a point where answers are going to have to be forthcoming. And I personally think that’ll be soon.

This is the thing though, KT always comes across as a humble lad.

He really actually doesnae need to say a * word, not one. If he doesn't want t go, then he won't go. He'll quietly go about his business the same as he does every other day.

Kieran Tierney's proposed move to Arsenal appears off after the London side failed in another attempt to sign the 22-year-old fullback.

It is understood that there was another multi-layered bid made on Monday for Tierney from the English Premier League side but Celtic remain unmoved by a deal that would have been paid in various instalments. The staggered offer with various add-on clauses has been deemed to be unrealistic by the Parkhead side who have been steadfast in their view that they do not need to sell a player who came through their academy structure.

Tierney himself has not spoken publicly about the negotiations but it is believed that privately he was intrigued by the offer on the table.

Sources close to the London side have claimed that Arsenal are now set to walk away from negotiations and turn their attention elsewhere as they seek to further bolster their side.

Tierney is currently rehabilitating from a double hernia operation while he has also been restricted to just nine first-team appearances since the turn of the year due to a debilitating osteitis pubis problem.

Napoli have also been monitoring Tierney's situation and could be set to test the waters with a bid for the left-back who has captained both club and country.

NAPOLI fear they are leaving the way clear for Arsenal to * Celtic’s Kieran Tierney.

Gaffer Carlo Ancelotti is being held back from pressing the button on a £25million swoop for the Scotland star because he must first sell Portuguese left-back Mario Rui.

SunSport understands Inter Milan-linked Rui, 28, is making it clear he’s got no interest in moving.

And it’s that situation which has legendary boss Ancelotti worried he will miss out on Tierney, who was identified months ago as a prime summer target.

Arsenal have had two bids for Tierney rejected by the Hoops board.

The last one guaranteed a £20m down payment, with a further £5m in add-ons based on certain clauses, including the Gunners qualifying for the Champions League

But Celtic chiefs have made it clear the up-front sum for Tierney, who is under contract until 2023, must be increased.

But Arsenal are in the box seat to land Tierney and a third bid is expected in the coming days.

Would actually be a bigger boost than a new signing if it is true.

I'm very surprised the board have rejected the 3rd bid. £20m upfront is more than Dembele transfer and that's without the add ons. Pleasantly surprised.

Not wanting to speak too soon but maybe this is a sign that the fiscal policy is reaping rewards in the sense we really don't need to sell because we're not desperate for the money and value the player more?

It’s the way it should be though!

Clubs not skint and if KTs not itching to move then no pressure.

Not long until England window shuts so hopefully all quiet until then..

Just need him fit ASAP and back doing what he does.

Loving the legions of wee Arsenal VLs crying about him as if it's not their own club that are at fault.

"but but but surely he wants £100k/week to lose games in our library of a stadium!"

I hope he does publicly tell them to ram it, then we can happily sell him to Man United after the 10, for more money, and enjoy watching him pump Arsenal.
