See when he made his debut at 17.

Was anyone moaning about giving youth a chance.

We could be, it's all paper talk really.

I notice they all say £70k per week as well.

When at arsenal these are the rumoured wages...

    • Mesut Ozil - £350,000-a-week.
    • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - £180,000-a-week.
    • Henrikh Mkhitaryan - £180,000-a-week.
    • Alexandre Lacazette - £140,000-a-week.
    • Sead Kolasinac - £119,500-a-week.
    • Aaron Ramsey - £110,000-a-week.
    • Hector Bellerin - £100,000-a-week.
    • Petr Cech - £100,000-a-week.
    • Laurent Koscielny - £100,000-a-week.
    • Danny Welbeck - £100,000-a-week.
    • Bernd Leno - £90,000-a-week.
    • Sokratis - £90,000-a-week.
    • Shkodran Mustafi - £90,000-a-week.
    • Stephan Lichtsteiner - £90,000-a-week.
    • Granit Xhaka - £90,000-a-week.
    • Lucas Perez - £80,000-a-week (contributions from loan club West Ham United).
    • Lucas Torreira - £75,000-a-week.
    • Alex Iwobi - £70,000-a-week.
    • Nacho Monreal - £70,000-a-week.
    • Mohamed Elneny - £55,000-a-week.
    • Matteo Guendouzi - £40,000-a-week.
    • Rob Holding - £40,000-a-week.
    • David Ospina - £40,000-a-week.
    • Calum Chambers - £25,000-a-week.
    • Konstantinos Mavropanos - £25,000-a-week.
    • Krystian Bielik - £25,000-a-week.
So if we are to believe that Tierney will be getting far less wages than Kolasinac and Bellerin who combined couldn't get lacing his boots? Tierney should be negotiating to get what Lacazette is and at least £100k looking t most of that *.

Perez, Torreira and Iwobi earning the same or more than you? £20k a week less than Mustafi, Lichsteiner or Sokratis. If he was going to be getting offered £70k a week he should be telling them to stick it up their *.

£50k less than Kolasinac who will be sitting on the bench while Tierney is running through brick walls trying to drag them out of mediocrity.

    London rags are apoplectic.

Running headlines about Celtic demanding 50m.

This is what happens when a team from Scotland tells a team from england to take its lowball bids go * itself ... they invent fantasies about those crazy scots getting too big for their boots

If I was in Lawwell's position and it's true they are bidding like £15-18million i'd have told them to get to *.

For us to consider a bid I'd be ideally wanting £25million up front then additional guarenteed clauses like £3million every say 15th of July he remains with them so if he's there for 5 years we'll get £15million more and a decent % of what he is sold on from them for 10-15%.

We should be demanding £40million guarenteed + sell on %. Wether its £20million up front and then yearly payments of £5million for the next 4 years or £15million this year, £10million next and then £5million for the next couple. We can work with them if they can't afford too much up front the now but we still need our money.

If they attempt any nonsense like offering us money if they finish Top 4 or if they win a trophy or that Lawwell should stick the nut on the *.

top 4 finish is laughable.......don't always agree with Keevins but he was spot on last night. So KT could go down there have a blinding season but still we would see no add on because the rest of their team is so poor and not good enough for a top 4!!! A clause on a player where we're relying on the quality (or lack of) of other players in theit team!! Get to * with your * offers!!!

He’s * mate, only gonna get worse & very quickly as well. I’m hearing from family sources that some days he struggles to get down the stairs, not everyday, but enough to cause me some concern.
If we can pull this sale off we’re laughing all the way to the bank.
PL should be wearing a mask in my opinion.

Neil Lennon has backed Celtic’s decision to play hardball with Arsenal over Kieran Tierney because he believes the Scotland defender is a snip at £25million.

    The Hoops boss reckons the
left-back will face the biggest call of his life if the Gunners finally meet Celtic’s asking price – and he believes they will have to, having seen a less experienced full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka join Manchester United from Crystal Palace for an eye-watering £50m.

That’s why he says Celtic chief Peter Lawwell is right to hold tight over Tierney after booting out two bids for the 22-year-old.

Arsenal were willing to shell out the asking price but Parkhead powerbrokers were unhappy at the way the Premier League side wanted to structure the payments.

The London giants are expected to come calling again in a bid to land the Scotland star but Lennon warned the Scottish
champions won’t be bullied during negotiations.

And the Irishman insists Celtic are right to stand their ground given the astonishing fee that took Wan-Bissaka to Old Trafford.

If Tierney’s valuation is met then it would smash the £15m record for a Scottish player spent by West Brom to sign Oliver Burke from Leipzig but Lenny knows he would face an agonising call over whether to quit his boyhood heroes.

Some fans south of the border have scoffed at Celtic’s valuation of the player who is contracted until 2023 and is also on Napoli’s radar but Lennon said: “That’s maybe just a small cross section of some supporters. The majority of the football public would know what a good player Kieran is. He has already achieved a * of a lot.

He has a valuation and the way the market is in England it could even look like a bargain when you think of Wan-Bissaka going for £50m.

“We feel Kieran is a far more experienced and rounded full-back at this juncture in his career.

“We’re certainly not going to be pushed over in any negotiations.

There’s no question Kieran could play in the Premier League. We’ve had van Dijk, Wanyama, Forster, Hooper, Dembele – all these players – and he is as good.

“His rise has been meteroic. He is a top quality player, one of the best as in Britain. The transfer fee should merit that.

“We are at the 20-plus and it’s been rejected out of hand. It’s up to Arsenal or anyone else to reach our valuation of Kieran.

“It would be a personal wrench, I’m sure, for him to leave but then maybe he is thinking about a new challenge in his career.

I’ve had a couple of chats with him in the past few days and it can be unsettling. It’s a question of letting things take course.”

Tierney is still sidelined after undergoing a hernia operation at the end of the season but Lennon doesn’t believe that would prevent any deal going through.

Asked if he thinks Tierney would pass a medical, Lennon said: “I would. He is back out on the grass now, which is a good sign. He is doing his rehab with the physios

He’s played almost as many European games as Wan-Bissaka has played senior games in all competitions.

    Levels.

Was KT not the player most * off at the Snake for the way he vanished without even saying goodbye ?

I’d like to think he’d tell him/them to ram it up their hole!
