There's no way Gutman will be first choice LB.

He'll most likely be loaned out again.

I would say there is a very strong chance Gutman will end up later this summer on loan to a team in Sweden or Norway.

I'd only consider 15m if they threw in aubameyang and convinced Wenger to be our new DOF

How would you all feel if it turns out he has asked to be sold?

If Arsenal are actually * about with the offers ..., they are just opening the whole thing up to let another EPL or continental club come in and take him.

There’s guaranteed to be a few watching on.

    Isn’t going to happen though.

Whether he goes or not, he will not push for the move. I’m as sure of that as the Pope is a Catholic.

Getting into the Chanpions League group stages is worth more than £30m nowadays. It's due to selling our best players and not investing that we continually have to do so. Our board sit tight and wait and see how the qualifiers go and then set our budget. We missed out on a big money windfall last season because we didn't be bring in a quality centre half in my opinion. Instead of selling our best talent, unless they genuinely want to go of course, bring in quality to ensure we qualify for the group stages and we wouldn't be in the situation of having to punt on our best players. I'm not sure we even have to sell anyone of note right now, but if we do, then it's down to the boards incompetence last summer.

I’d respect his decision and be fine with it tbh.

If he wants to earn more money and play in a better quality league then fair enough. We all know he’s capable of doing so and so will he.

It wouldn’t make him any less of a fan or taint his legacy in any way for me.

Something tells me Lennon will hugely regret taking the job, if we wind up selling Tierney.

Surely that viewpoint should also stand for Brendan Rodgers?

I agree in part with what you've said there.

We should be aiming to qualify for the Champions League every year, obviously, but there's no reason why we shouldn't be doing that AND selling players at a big profit.

A club of our size should have a better structure in place that allows us to maximise profit on player trading. We have decent budgets but we just don't use it well enough, really, and we make poor decisions in the transfer market too often. For example, it would have been clear from about 18 months ago that Boyata was going to leave unless we paid him what he wanted. So we should have been looking at replacements for him last Summer and banked the £9m+ teams were offering.
