I hope I'm no proved right..
Started from the bottom now we here...
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is not sure if Kieran Tierney will need surgery on the hip problem that has sidelined the 21-year-old full-back since the middle of last month
Tierney, pictured, has joined his team-mates in Dubai but has not trained. Instead he has been working with the club’s rehabilitation team with a further assessment to be made next week when it is planned he will return to training.
Asked if the defender might need surgery, Rodgers said: “I’m not sure. His injury record is very good obviously apart from when he’s had breaks and stuff. I just don’t think there’s a need to really push him through it and inject it and put him in pain every time. He just needs to take a wee breather. He’s in good hands with the medical team and we’ll see how he is next week.”
If he needs surgery we need to sign Melling!
This is starting to heavily amuse me. The guys now an established international that Premiership clubs have been scouting. It’ll now take £5m odds to sign him.
I’d pay it..
I know. I feel like Lawwell when I say it’s bonkers to spend one of the highest transfer fees in our history on a bench player.
Taking their time to come to a decision. Should have been sorted ages ago if this is a recurring problem.
A lot of the time all injuries need are time to get sorted. * getting him under a knife if it isn’t required.
If he needs it now is the time.
We've got no games until the end of the month and our first 4 or 5 fixtures after the break are all relatively straight forward home games. We should be able to cope.
They've deffo been giving him the super-soldier serum.
How long would he be out for if he gets surgery? Our next 4 games are at home, and 3 of those include Hamilton, Airdrie and St mirren, and st johnstone at home isn't difficult either.
All the big clubs across Europe been scouting him for a while now! Not surprised cause he’s been a standout for them everytime they’ve faced us
